Superb bit of kit very impressed

The COB strip is a revelation! The light it projects is bright and even over my whole field of vision and so it is much easier to work with. Sadly, the intensity slowly reduces over a few minutes and so I found myself struggling to see if I was working on a particularly time consuming task. Switching off and back on again restores the intensity but I didn't understand it would do this from the sales details.I can see why they do this as the band does start to get hot on my forehead after a while but it would be great if they found another way to solve this problem as I feel a bit let down.The focused light is good but because I have to wear glasses for close work it really isn't very useful as it projects a bright reflection on the edge of my field of view. However, with the COB strip being so good I don't miss the focused light.

Good light for any task mechanic, hike or camping

It was so much better than I thought it would be, it is perfect when you need to use two hands in low lighting, and I can’t believe it goes around your head & it folds up so small. I hope this helps. Regards Jo 🙂

I am really pleased with these. They are the best thing I have found for running at night- the light throw is perfect for running speed and such a wide arc. It’s great to be able to switch them on and off with a quick wave of your hand. I also use one on the back of my dogs neck when he is off lead at night- I can see exactly where he is and no chance of him not being seen if he were to run off. Battery life is really only one hour on full but that’s fine for my use.

This headtorch provides a bright and widespread light. Decent battery life too which is rechargeable.

A top tip if you ever see a product you like on offer on Facebook....... Don't buy, copy the product name and search on Amazon. You nearly always find the same product, but much cheaper. That's what I did for this item, where I found it at half the price.This item is pretty good, the narrow light strip works really well and definitely provides a wide light coverage. The small side light is nothing special, but you are not buying it for that. A downside is that as it charges a very small internal battery via USB, it states that the charge will provide 2.5hrs of use, so not ideal for long hill walks and cycling. If you are looking for a wide beam headtorch and don't need more than a couple of hours of usage, this is product is ideal.
