What is the rope made of? How long does it last?

I’m not an expert but I think it’s called sisal rope, it is the rope you get on most scratch posts, I’ve had 4 cats using it daily for weeks and it’s still fully in tact and I don’t get lots of bits dripping from it, these are good value for money
