Do the black rubber parts come off? I can hear water inside the silver part but don't want to break it.

The rubber part hasn’t come off while cleaning and we haven’t had any leaks.

Just to help out, a Tablestoon is *just under* 15 milliliters. Specifically, 1 US Tbsp=14.78ml for most recipes, particularly things that only need a one or two tablespoons of something you can just use ml. Sure, if you're doing science, that 2 MICROliters might produce a problem, but in the home kitchen, you're going to have more stuck to the spoon you're using to measure. So, if anyone is shopping for this, just pretend a Tbsp is 15ml, and enjoy it.

You need to use the right unit for baking. Millimeters is for length/distance such as inches, feet, meters, yards. For 8 ounces, which is a cup, you convert to milligrams, which for 8 ounces, is 226,796 mg.

Water is in the silver plunger (not the clear part) and it doesn't come apart to dry. How do I get the water out?

That won’t be a problem. Just leave it out to air dry and it will be dry again in minutes 👍
