4K HDMI TV Media Player with HDMI/YPbPr/AV Output, USB/SD Ports with Remote Control for MP3 AVI RMVB MPEG etc

It looks & feels cheap but it performs almost perfectly. I had a download file I processed (for audio level & trim) in DVD Fab software that froze when I tried to play it plugged into a 5 year old TV. It was the first file I tried in the Media Player & it also froze. I processed the original file with a newer version of DVD Fab & it played completely thru. I tried numerous other files & they all worked without fail. I even tried a video larger than 5 GB & it played but I only let it play for 5 minutes. 4:3 & 16:9 Aspect Ratio look normal. 16:9 Aspect Ratio is vertically stretched on my old tv USB plug-in. Power cord could be a little longer. Cheap device so it has a cheap quality picture. I'd describe as similar to the quality I get with antenna TV. Works good with the video I recorded to disc with a DVR 2004-2014 transferred to External Drive. Recent downloads don't work so well. First commercial break in video causes sound to go way out of sync with picture. TubiTv downloads work pretty well. 12/14/2020 The sound must be increased twice the amount as regular TV for me to hear it. Not a fail yet.

Nice little unit for the price point. Just needed a player for doing an open-house looping video session for a couple hours. Would give it 5 stars if it came with a Y PB PR cable.

We have found out the hard way that just because the TV says it HAS a USB port, that doesn't mean it will play MP4 video from a USB stick. Many times, the TV will only play image files from a USB stick. Or you get to an event and the TVs provided don't even have USB support.Our solution in the past was to always ship a laptop for the sole purpose of driving video to the television via an HDMI cable. Well those days are gone with the purchase of this device.This little device is used instead of a laptop. We connect it to the TV via an HDMI cable, plug in the USB stick with the MP4 video files already on it, and voila...video output to the television. It plays in succession and in a continual loop whatever is on the USB stick. We recently used these at an event for the first time and they worked beautifully. I just ordered two more (for a grand total of four) to keep in our tradeshow supply case just in case we get to a show or event and the TVs don't have USB support, we are covered. With the addition of these handy devices, we no longer have to either ship or rent laptops just to drive canned marketing videos to large monitors or televisions.

I lost my other media player and replaced it with this one. We use it for traveling so my son can watch his movies when we are away. This is small, compact and very light. Better than the previous one which was about twice as big. It has the exact same firmware which is great, no new software to learn. One of the key advantages are the external buttons. It comes with a remote, but I prefer to have a unit that does not depend exclusively on the remote and so this one is perfect. It supports all major video formats and has options for both USB (external drive or memory stick) and SD memory cartridge. It also has HDMI outputs as well as composite video all in a nice neat and light package. Everything I was looking for.

Works good but does not play MKV files good. Only audio and NO Picture. I tested the same flash drive on my computer and Samsung Smart TV and the flash drive works perfect but when I put it in the media player only volume and no picture using a HDMI cable. I checked and triple checked everything and that is the only issue so far.

I have a company Video Vision Productions that converts old 8 mm movie film high 8, VHS and other tape formats for customers so they can play on there big screen TVs. I put all of these files on a hard drive and then use the media player to display them.The size of this unit seem to be optimal as it’s the same size as a external portable hard drive.I thought this was going to be a great package because they are the same size. When setting them up for a customer to view their files the problems I ran into were1 - I had a customer with an old Sony picture tube TV and the AV cable would not connect and display anything on the TV. I have two of these units, tried them both and neither one would display the videos on the TV.2 - Then it comes to video quality and it did not look as sharp and clear as it did on my computer.3 - I also converted an audio tape of a woman’s life history that she recorded for her daughter and the sound I just could not make it very loud and it was slightly fuzzy.So I decided to go back to the smaller unit that I was using before the Micca MPLAY HD mini 1080P player. This unit is much smaller than the extrnal hard drive but the quality of it in the video image is superior and the audio sound quality coming out of her mothers recording we could adjust the volume loud and clear and not fuzzy at all.So my rating of this particular unit is that it is very poor quality and if you want to get something that really works good get the Micca MPLAY HD mini 1080P player.you’ll be much happier, it does cost more but it’s totally worth the difference in price.

Over the past few months I have purchased four of these units so that my grandchildren could watch old recorded movies at their homes. The first three worked perfectly; paired with a small hard drive my grandkids had access to a bunch of old movies that they seemed to love. The fourth unit was for our home so that we, too, could enjoy our old shows. When it first arrived, it didn't function properly and I assumed that it was because of the size of hard drive I was pairing it with. I didn't address the problem until recently; I purchased a smaller hard drive and a couple of 64gb flash drives. None of them worked! I got in touch with the seller and to my surprise, they were happy to replace the unit even though the return and warranty periods were expired! The replacement works like a charm and we couldn't be happier! The customer service was above and beyond anything we expected (or deserved)!
