So I read many less than positive reviews and wondered if it was mostly operator error or truly a poor product. So out of curiosity and need, I ordered since the price was low and Amazon has great return policies. I received the lock set and checked it out before installing and it looked and felt like good quality. I felt confident that it would work just fine. I installed it. Took mere minutes. Everything went well. Lock works great. Key works great(three keys come with it). The latch is easily adjustable for the two common door lock backset spacing. The locking tab on the inside of the door can be set to either be locked or unlocked when vertical and visa versa. Just look inside the inside handle and hold the flange while rotating the knob to the way you want the tab to be oriented. I think the poor reviews were based upon operator error. The latch has the standard anti lock picking mechanism so a credit card can’t open the door. The key is pretty simple so I’m guessing an experienced lock picker would not have much trouble but this is just your average garage door type of lock. I think it’s a pretty good lock for most situations and would not hesitate to recommend.

Door knob lasted less than 60 days. I had initial concerns because the product appeared to be a return when I opened the box, and I should have returned. Now we are past the return window with a product that doesn't lock. Update: They reached out and offered a refund.

This knob feels less solid than the one it's replacing and rattles a little bit, which is my only real complaint. Other than that the stainless steel looks very nice and it works just fine. Gets plenty of use installed on the outside door of our sunroom for a few months now with no problems.

Used these to rekey our office so the doors will all have the same key. It was perfect.

It locks the door at an affordable price, but the quality could be better as it feels wobbly and has too much play. Additionally, the lock mechanism is reversed—the inner lock must be in a horizontal position to lock, whereas the standard is vertical. This can be confusing, especially if you have multiple locks with different orientations.

I bought 6 of these locks and all the locks use the same key!! I’ve never heard such madness, had I known before install I would have sent them back . Overall the locks are good quality and the finish is good . Would have been five stars if not for all the lock using the same key . So if you want each lock to have its own key this ain’t the lock for you.
