Climbing and Rambler Roses Hardcover – July 28, 2016

Great book for the gardner wanting to introduce lush looking low maintenance roses into their landscape.

Excellent encyclopedic list of climbers and ramblers. I would recommend it to rose enthusiasts.

A wonderful introduction to climbing and rambling roses. Unfortunately, most of the book is an exact copy of information available in previous books by Austin on roses. The only additional info is one chapter on using the Austin roses as climbers and a few newer varieties added to the pre-existing chapters.

Picturesque. High quality paper.

To me this isn't the best of his books. It has some new information but most seems repetitive from his other books.

Superb. I just happen to see a review of this book so purchased. Pleased I did as it is a very nice hard cover book (No dust cover). Most pages have a colour photos of the rose being discussed, and these are top photos. The book has not compromised of quality, most climbing roses appear, however two I like are missing, R. Westerland and R Madam Isaac Pereiere. But it is nice to see a book on climbing roses by Davis Austin.Well done.
