These placemats have a nice rich chocolate brown color and a good weight. They are thicker than many of the placemats I've hade before. While they do have a bit of a texture, they are easy to clean. I have not placed anything really hot on them, warm bowls of soup have no affect on them. Also, I appreciate that they were shipped flat and not folded.

Wife and I were worried that these were way too plain for fancy dinner occasions- but with nice plates, glasses, napkins, and silverware they were perfect. These can be used for everyday use or for fancy occasions. They are good quality and well made.

I ordered these in green for my Christmas tablecloth. I really like them so I’ll be ordering another color for everyday. They’re not flimsy and they wipe clean easily. I haven’t tried putting a hot dish on them but I believe they’d handle it.

I got these five minutes ago and I am excited!! They are gorgeous, classy, sturdy, and they have that “new car”smell. I love them! I got green for Christmas!

I purchased to use for Thanksgiving, wanted to do green and be a little different. They are thick and very nice.

They are nice but do slip. And are very easy to get dirty. I'm literally wiping these down everyday. They are nice no holes so they don't leak through like others I've gotten. But they really are easy to dirty the grease from my hand will get these dirty. Like I said before I'm wiping them down everyday. Thought these were the ones because they are solid one piece that doesn't leak but I guess I'll keep looking.

These placemats were exactly what I wanted. They are a decent thickness to protect my table and have held up well to washing and my grandkids. They look really nice with their light leather texture and they are the perfect size for my table. I’m thinking of ordering more in a different colour, they are just that good. :-)
