Great value laptop, works with Windows 11 well
This laptop now replaces a desktop and laptop system I used to have. The performance isn't the fastest but it is good and gets things done much quicker than my old Xeon workstation, especially for the price. The laptop itself feels high quality, its metal, and has a reasonable number of ports. Upgraded to Windows 11 when it arrived and haven't had any problems other than browser settings to do all over again, and no, they didn't transfer, they overwrote my old settings, but that's not the laptop. Used it with a third-party port expander for a day but that quickly stopped working with Windows 11 and fixes so was returned, bought an Asus port expander and that's great though a bit pricey.

Not bad but definitely not the best of clas
The cable connecting the ASUS power supply/charger to the laptop failed at plug to the laptop after 6 months of normal use. It was not damaged simply poorly designed and manufactured with no strain relief etc. ASUS tried to claim they did not have to replace the item due to the small print in their warranty terms thereby ignoring UK consumer protection laws. This company is best totally avoided if my experience is typical of the way they treat customers. Use HP or Samsung as they have a much more psoitive response to warranty claims. I have has to take ASUS to the Small Claims Court to get the item replaced at their cost with ASUS picking up my Court and legal expenses.

Screen started to fail after a few days
The media could not be loaded. Really liked the laptop seemed like an excellent bit of kit. Lightweight nice clear screen and good sound. However after just a few days the screen started to go black whilst using it repeatedly. Which means its unusable. Assumed I had just received a bad one and would have been happy for a replacement but this wasn't an issue. So have had to request a refund back on Dec 2nd and I'm still waiting even though it was picked up on 3rd. Hopefully should be any day. Cant now decide to re-purchase once I get the refund or look at something else which is a shame as I liked this laptop bar the issues.

Buy if you are using MWord and for basic functions
This is a fast laptop. The image quality is amazing and so is the sound. MS Applications are easy and smooth to operate. Great memory capacity BUT, and this is a big but, every few days the screen goes completely black and when it returns to normal the whole resolution is fuzzy and you start to see double letters and fuzzy images to the point where you can't read anything or perform tasks. If you are desparate for a fast laptop and good memory space, then this is for you. If you want something durable or for anything beyond basic functions such as typing and surfing the net, then this is not the best option. I should have researched this further, so if you want a good product, find another brand with the same memory capacity features and stay away from this one. Oh, and when you are on a Zoom call, sound and camera suddenly stop working until you refresh your settings. I have only had this for 2 weeks and took it to 2 different IT technicians and they have confirmed all the above.

Great laptop for the price, terrible battery llife
Overall this is a great value laptop. Everything feels responsive and I love the large SSD and 16GB of RAM (I previously made the mistake of buying a budget laptop with only 4GB of RAM, and Windows sucks up so much memory these days). It handles light gaming like Slay the Spire fine, but it's definitely not a gaming laptop and will struggle to run anything demanding.Only real negative is the awful battery life. I've upgraded to Windows 11 which seems to have made it even worse - can die in just 2-3 hours of heavy use with things like the keyboard backlight and bluetooth on. You can get 4-5 hours out of it at a push but it's still pretty terrible for 2021.

fast but bad battery
it boots linux in about 10 seconds... it works very well... but the battery is not very good. If you use zoom or google meet, it would last about 2 to 3 hours. Same if you watch amazon prime videos... So definitely it is not a laptop that you may bring to the coffee to work from there

Fast Laptop with Beautiful Display and Great Features
I got the black 16gb i5 version and with just over a month with it I'm incredibly in love with it!I really like how big the screen is and how good the viewing angles are, great for watching HD videos or editing photos. The computer loads up and shuts down in seconds. I chose the i5 version and I'm incredibly happy with the performance when loading heavy duty apps or playing simple games. It did take some time to get used to the keyboard layout as it has the numpad on the right and the buttons are compact and closer together but other than that it is smooth to type on.The battery however is not all day as they said, at best you will get 5 hours on power saving settings. For me that is more than enough as I usually use this laptop at home but if you're up and about a lot do bring the charger with you.Overall I think it's a great value budget laptop and would definitely recommend!

Nice
Had to replace my 5 year old laptop as it had run out of puff. I've had this for a month now. And so far so good. Its lightweight and compact in comparison to my old laptop. Going from a TN screen to this one is a massive improvement. The boot up time is almost instant. Battery life is ok, I get about 4hrs browsing, YouTube etc. Key board and track pad work fine. Backlit keyboard is a bonus and works well. SSD and RAM are more than enough for my needs. All in all a nice bit of kit.
