A must have for Discus
So just to clear things up for anyone who is unsure. Paraguard & stress guard can be used together. I recently got back into discus and in knowing how sensitive they can be I wasn't sure what to use during quarantine. I watched a couple of videos & did some reading & reviews on line & the paraguard was highly recommended. There wasn't anyone using it with stress guard but I figured I'd give it a try. So here is how I used it. I ordered the first 7 discus & I didn't do as much research on the seller as I should have (I won't mention sellers name but just believe cheaper is NOT the way to go) anyway when I got them they were skinny, doing a whole lot of rubbing and 2 had ich. That being said I turned the heat up to 92°(this high for fish who can handle high temp only) & treated with both stress guard & paraguard for 2 weeks (put temp slowly back down to 84° when done). All fish survived & are doing great. Now as for the second batch of 9 discus . They came in healthy (more reputable seller) so I did just 3 days of both. Now if you are doing a 2 week quarantine like you should if you see any trouble you can restart both until you see they are doing better (2 weeks if sick is best). Make sure you remove carbon from filter when using paraguard. If your using stress guard alone for injury you do not need to remove carbon. I hope this helps . I highly recommend both products

A must have staple
This is a great medication to have on hand in case of minor scratches or slime coat damage due to rough decor, fighting or netting/moving fish. Mild treatment and excellent preventive.

Best Tank Medication On the Market
This stuff eradicated an ich outbreak within days and I had more than enough with this three pack to complete the 28 day treatment in a 46 gallon tank. I do not know if this product impacts your beneficial bacteria because I would dose SeaChem Stability on my weekly water changes while medicating as recommended by Seachem and my tank never showed a rise in ammonia or nitrites with thorough daily testing with an API Master Test Kit. Now I have a bottle and a half on hand for emergencies in the future and I know I can trust it. Have used other cheaper products in my 10 gallon and they have failed to help and only end up staining my seals and tubings, while ParaGuard did not stain anything in my 46 gallon! Great product from a great company and I highly recommend it and all of their other products.

Works good for many fish issues, but NOT for bottom feeders.
I use it fpr pre treating for parasites for new fish before introducing into tank, works well to stop fin problems, but I cannot have any bottom feeders in a tank I am treating, fatal to bottom feeders.

Cured my fish
While using Paragaurd, I've noticed a slight rise in Ammonia and a huge drop in nitrates. Also, cured my fish and didn't stain everthing in the tank blue.

Great product
Love all the seachem products! Anting to keep on hand as a just in case. Wasn’t thrilled with the shipping. All three bottles were shipped together, but one bottle was leaking right out of the top. Never fun to open a wet package.
