what is the guarantee on this watch?

I do not recall seeing a written warranty delivered w/ the watch. I'm believing that standard warranty is one year. If mine "dies" in less than one year....I'll get in touch with amazon customer service. Let's face it....it's a $33 dollar watch...I'm sure I'll get a couple of years out of it....and then I'll just buy another one! MH from NH

what kind of battery is used in this watch?

Not sure. However, bought several different models of these Timex watches March 2020 and they haven't needed a battery change yet.
