BrooksMen's Trace Running Shoe

It seems (from reading reviews before I bought a pair) that people who do running a lot consider the Brooks Ghost line to be good solid middle of the road (that's not a recommendation on where you should run) trainers. While I haven't tried other brands and lines (these replaced a pair of Ghost 9s) so I'm not too well-placed to do a comparison I can say these are just the job for me to do my few-times-a-week 5k trots around the neighbourhood. They fit well, give enough padding for my feet and a bit of bounce to jolly me along. I daresay when the time comes I'll buy a pair of Brooks Ghost 20s.

Recommended buy, so after taking advice about these, I purchased them. Ideal for the gym. Good toe room and adequate ‘bounce’ in the inner sole. Good price and a good buy.

I bought a pair of these 2 years ago from the shop for £125. These are exactly the same in a different colour for only £69. Brilliant running trainers, stoped all the foot and ankle pain I was having. Very comfortable. Will buy again.

comfortable, well made, light, running shoe fits as expected.To be honest I just buy the next year model each year of this shoe,have tried other makes but have sent them back and bought brooks again.Bought on a good offer so very happy with purchase

These must be the most comfortable and supportive trainers I've owned. I have high arches and planters facetious. I can be on my feet for hours now, including walking, without suffering the pain I did with every other shoe I've tried over the years. I wish I had these way back when I worked as a nurse!

My hubby bought a pair of these a year ago after they were recommended for some foot niggles he had when running. I have had an ongoing knee niggle for about 2-3 months and have had to stop running. Hubby talked me into trying some Brooks Ghost 14.I've walked over 14 miles today in 3 walks, and no knee pain when walking uphill which is when I usually feel it - to say I'm pleasantly surprised is an understatement.I realise my knee isn't miraculously better as I can still feel it's there, but wearing the Brooks meant I didn't need to change my gait or slow down.They fit perfectly and are very comfortable, hence why I was able to do 14 miles today.

Very pleased with this purchase. After going through half a dozen pairs of running shoes the husband’s happy at last. Said they’re great shock absorbers, fit well and can take a pounding.
