Chicken Waterer Cups Automatic Poultry Waterer Chicken Watering Cups with PVC Tee Fittings for 1/2 Inch Schedule Piping with 3/8 Inch FTP Threads for Chickens Ducks Gooses (12 Pieces)

It’s been about a month and these things have worked so far. I haven’t had any problems with them leaking like I did with those steel nipples. I think the extra washer attached to the back makes it seal a lot better.

Pretty easy install. Works great for chickens. Not working as well for our ducks but that's because we have muddy sand inside out coop, which they get stuck to their bills, then deposit into the water cups. But if you don't have muddy sand or don't have ducks, then I couldn't recommend these enough.

This concept is great for automatic watering cups but they are poorly designed that they do not work. The cups constantly leak/drip for all the water to empty out. No matter how hard you screw them in or use plumbers tape to help with the leaks it still does not help. I use this for my chickens and they can easily bump up against a cup to tilt the cup upward and all of the water will just dump out. Waste of money. (UPDATE) Would not recommend to anyone.. have had these cups for close to a month and only 2/12 still function as they should.

I love the cups themselves, they make farm/homestead life a lot easier cutting out time to fill the watering buckets every night and morning.These are a little on the cheaper side, they will leak. The little rub grommets that are used to stop the water are abnormally small and don’t fit directly over the water hole to stop water flow. Also the push on fit into the threaded piece tends to leak. They do send extra grommets. Swap those out and a little silicon fixed that issue.5 out of my 6 cups work great with a little tweaking, I still have one that slow leaks. For the price it’s not bad though.My chickens/ducks love them and the dogs have even figured them out.

I want to start by saying that all of mine work and work well, the one flaw is nothing with the cups, but of course the chickens get a little dirt and debris in them (even though I have them well off the ground), and you can simply rotate the cups to pour out the dirty water, but you run the risk of inadvertently unscrewing them.. I haven't tried it yet, but maybe a squeeze baster could suck out the dirty water (just a thought).Also, these ones are designed to connect with 1/2" pvc and make a long row (or multiple rows).. As soon as I installed it the chickens were standing on them like roots! The cups were instantly dirty! I took it apart and now have them attached directly to buckets with no pvc "rows", not as a esthetic but way more effective and easy to maintain...With all this said, yes I like the cups and they do work as intended (self filling)

Leaks. Even with .01 psi

I installed the chicken cups over 2 months ago and they've been great. They were easy to install, they work well, they don't leak, and they make taking care of the chickens so much easier. Someone had mentioned in a previous review that they leaked until using PVC glue. Well, you HAVE to glue them together or they will leak... this is to be expected.

Works great for chickens! I used these to build 2 watering systems. The ducks are a bit hard on it when they get larger but they still functions as advertised and I am very happy with them
