Review: Great. Life changer - Update as of 1/8/2020 - I bought this purifying system because husband was having breathing issues due to mold in the house. After the issue was fixed we needed a powerful machine to do the job (we have a bigger house). When I tell you this purifier changed the quality of the air in the house, it’s an understatement. We love it and think it’s amazing. The best thing is that we can move it to any room in the house that needs an extra cleanse. I totally recommend it. It has been over a year and it’s still working great.
Review: can't get replacement filters - we used this for some mold remediation in our home and now want to use it to filter dust/etc. from the environment HOWEVER I can't find replacement filters for it. The mfgr. sent me to their supplier - Air Chaser - where I got the runaround and then a final communication stating nope, we don't have any....out of stock (the mfgr. told me they were to be restocked this week but the gal at the supplier said nope). It is compact, easy to use, and has a low/quiet mode that you can leave running all the time however, without clean filters it's kind of pointless. At least for us, a VERY expensive, now pretty useless piece of equipment - just a year later! Looking into custom built filters which sort of negates any money saved in purchasing this unit.

**Q: I see other filters advertised as 20 x 20 but with a different part number.  Will they fit? hoping to pick up mold spores as we're cleaning.**
A: Below are the different filters with dimensions used for the X-2480
13" x 13" Washable Nylon Mesh Filter (Part name: NFS13)
13" x 13" Pleated Media Filter (Part name: PF13)
13" x 13" x 1.4" HEPA Filter (Part name: HEPA35-33)

**Q: I want to mainly use an air scrubber for heavy dust during construction projects where we seal the room off. What is bes machine for this application?**
A: Any XPOWER Air Scrubber should work well for your application. If there is no HEPA filter requirement, using XPOWER's washable filters might be a better option.

**Q: Where can I buy the replacement filters for this machine?**
A: You can find AirChaser on the internet and buy the filters.  The 1st stage filter is 13" x 13" Washable Nylon Mesh Filter (NFS13), the 2nd stage filter is 13" x 13" Pleated Media Filter (PF13), the 3rd stage filter is 13" x 13" x 1.4" HEPA Filter (HEPA35-33).

**Q: Can the carbon filter be added to the already included nylon mesh filter, media filter, and hepa filter? also can a thicker hepa filter be used?**
A: You can get the Carbon filters from Air Chaser when you do a search on the internet.  You can add a carbon filter, but you will need to take out the 13" x 13" Pleated Media Filter (PF13).  The carbon filter is 13" x 13" x 1.4" Activated Carbon Filter (CF15).  You will need to buy a bigger Air scrubber,  X-3400A and X-3700 Air Scrubbers for a thick 2" HEPA filter.

This works great. We do interior remodeling and its wonderful for dust control. Great for demo including concrete cutting and drywall work. I would highly recommend this. I love the washable filter on the outside. That saves us a ton.
