I had once witnessed a man give himself a high fade with no mirror. I had always wondered how he pulled off such a task with ease. Fast forward twenty years, to a time where getting a standard men’s haircut can be over $30. With multiple people needing haircuts in the house I’m dropping over a C note every few weeks. Not including tips! I was forced to revisit that event I witnessed.Before this device I was using my garage vice to hold a mirror while holding another in hand and making my cut uneven. It’s nice just to hang it on the door, adjust here and there and keep some money. This is a small investment with a huge payoff. Fairly sturdy, a bit heavy, works wonders. I can’t speak for the LED model as mine does not have that feature. They add tips on the inside of the box so you can get that professional look at home. Highly recommended.

These mirrors have better optical quality with the shipping protective film still on than other mirrors bare that I have examined when searching locally. Nice hinges and the "James Bond" style telescoping mount and hooks makes installation simple. I could be wrong, however, I am not sure how many times you could open and close the telescopic mounts before they would lose friction and no longer be able to keep the mirror at a selected height. So I hang it on a closet rod when not in use. Still, the best I have seen the back of my head in years and years.

This three way mirror is a game changer for me. I’m glad that I went with the LED version. The light worked and has easy to follow instructions. The mirror arrived intact and undamaged. Can’t wait to use it. Although, my only concern is that the door hinge poles could use a little oil or grease. You have to have a firm grip on the mirror itself when sliding it up and down. Also with the handle being plastic, you have to be careful not to break it.

Great product, gifted to a friend and she loved it. Said it had some weight to it which is always a good thing. She uses it all the time.

Real authentic review here. I purchased this July 11 of 2024 and it did its job. I cannot complain about the battery life as I typically cut my hair outside. However, the battery never gave me an issue. Adjusting the brightness of the light is very easy and simple. The three mirrors make it very easy to cut your hair from all angles. However, I will say cutting the back of your head will be harder with these mirrors. Maybe I just had them set up in the wrong angle however I did use and cut my hair plenty of times and I still had trouble cutting the back of my head but again, still very doable, just a little harder. If you are planning to use this mirror on anything but a door than think twice before buying this, the hooks are made very specifically to be used on a door and on doors only. My only problem I had with my mirror is that the metal pipes that extend out from the mirror to allow you to open the hooks and hang on the door broke just only after 8 months. The mirror itself has a nice weight to it and feels very quality like however the extenders and the hook itself feels very cheaply made and plastic like. However, this 60 bucks saved me at least triple the amount over the eight months I had it. 3.5 stars, if the hooks and the extenders were more quality made it would have been a 5/5 star
