I purchased this because it seemed like an excellent value. It wasn’t. The blades won’t even cut dry wood.

The saw looks great in the photo but I fear I won't get to use it before the weather changes since it may never arrive

I question the motives behind those people giving this a four and five star rating. The saw frame for the price is fine and does the job although I doubt it will stand the test of time as the attachment point for the blade are insubstantial and I suspect will fail. The purpose of any saw is to cut and in that respect with the blades supplied the saw is useless. The blades are frankly cheap an nast and will not cut freshly felled timber over about an inch in diameter. Don't let people kid you that these blades will cut green timber. Anybody who says they will are not living in the real world. Forget this saw and buy a good quality branded one fitted with a decent blade or chuck the blades supplied in the bin and buy a decent blade. It is a great pity that Amazon are now becoming the old ebay with shoddy sellers selling rubbish goods. I have been purchasing goods on Amazon for over 10 years without problem but over the past year there has been a trend to use third party sellers who are frankly selling shoddy goods.

I looked at local DIY stores but very few of them came with spare blades, this one was the same price but came with spare blades which was important as you will inevitably blunt or break the blade at some point.Review has been written after being used to cut down a small / medium sized tree, the stump took less than 20 seconds to cut through. The blade is very sharp and when you have leverage to use both hands it’s effortless.Most branches and trunks aren’t in an easy place and so you can only cut in single strokes, it was no issue for this blade and still cut effortlessly in every motion.Really pleased with it, great value and would highly recommend.

For the price I really wasn't expecting much. But as I didn't have that much heavy cutting to do I wasn't too worried.However, when I got it I was totally amazed !! Its brilliant.Good size, good weight, good hand grip and guard, pretty sturdy and extra blades. Cuts through 'Green' wood, thick and thin, with ease.If I was using it every day then perhaps it would need to be a little more robust, but for the average person, cutting a few branches off here and there it is more than up to the job.Very Happy !!!

I've not used the replacement blades but easy to use , perfect as utility saw in the garden.Added extra padding to the front as it was getting worn.Very pleased with it and replacement blades area bonus.

USed to cut down a few very large shrubs and a dwarf tree. No issues in using and the blade cut through quite easily. Good value with the spare blades included. The plastic blade guards not much use and snapped when refitting after use. For more lightweight and general cutting good value
