This is designed to work with any version of drills. Is does not come with an adapter for a impact driver.

Will this work with 1/2 drill?

Yes, they will fit. These bits are intended for use in a screwdriver/driver so, heavy duty use in a drill may shorten their life, although I've used them in my drill.
