AMT Star Trek Deep Space Nine 1:3300 Scale Model Kit

Some instructions were missing. however, I made do and am satisfied.

I had seen this on a couple different sites but the price was to nice to pass up. This came quickly and was in great shape. I'm very excited to put this together.

A beauty to add to the collection BUT this is not a clear kit in the 'traditional' sense.Although it’s injected in clear plastic, only the promenade and power core have the windows moulded. The Habitat ring, the cross members and the outer docking ring, where most of the windows are, don’t have any. The reason for this is because this is the original model kit from AMT, they haven’t updated the mould. Instead of going back, redesigning it to place the windows, they just re-released the model as a clear kit, but it’s not moulded to be a clear kit. So it kind of defeats the purpose..Irrelevant if you don't want to light it. Relevant if you do.

Love the station is all clear and then the little defiant and Cardassian ship make it even more awesome! Can’t wait to put the lights in it!

Yeah, got the original way back in 1995….Built it…Then had to give it up after college. Been wanting another one ever since. This fits the bill nicely. Also, not said on the box, there are parts to convert the Keldon to a Galor and back so don’t cement it! That ship is snap fit for a reason. Anyway, gonna try and finish it if possible.
