I got this mouth guard for my 13 year old son who has braces. We followed the boiling instructions and placed it in his mouth it molded perfectly to his teeth he’s very happy we found one to fit for his wrestling season.

Fit is comfortable for kids with braces.

My son is still trying to get used to them. They fit loose and are a little uncomfortable but it does protect him. He has braces and plays basketball so its better than nothing.

It is a comfortable mouthpiece, easy to mold and wear. The only critique I could have about it is that it doesn't seem to get very "snug" on my teeth and wants to fall out if you open your mouth. Might just be I have a weird shaped mouth though because my brother's stays in fine. Maybe im just a freak like frankenstein, or just abnormally large. I am 6'7 and ever since I can remember I have hit my head on things which has made it very hard and makes me resistant to head trauma which is a good thing since I kickbox. Kickboxing has been great for me, it's taken me to a lot of locations that I wouldn't have been able to go to otherwise and is FANTASTIC for keeping you in shape. I remember the first tournament that i went to, we had a stacked bracket for light heavyweight. It was 12 guys. I won my first fight which put me in the finals with how the brackets played out, and was honestly beating the brakes off my guy in the finals. Dude was like Mikey T though and with 7 seconds in the championship round he flashed me (knocked me down very briefly) but it was enough to cost me that round and the fight. Thinking about it still bothers me.

Overall a good mouthpiece. Its a little smaller than I thought it would be. The case is a nice addition.Pay attention to the instructions: I boiled mine for like 30 seconds instead of 15 and it deformed VERY quickly. When I took it out with tongs, two pieces of the mouthpiece stuck together and I had to pull them apart by hand, luckily it had cooled just enough to touch.From boiling it too long, when I bit down it formed right away, but wasn't quite in the best position, so I had to quickly fiddle with it, before it set.I actually pretty much bit a hole in the back end using one my molars, but again this could be because I boiled it too long.Honestly, I didn't really need this and just bought it for fun along with some  Everlast Mixed Martial Arts Heavy Bag Gloves (L/XL) , RDX Neoperene MMA Shin Instep Pads Leg Guard Muay Thai Boxing Training Protective Gear Kickboxing (CE Certified by SATRA) , and this  MaxxMMA Speed-Adjustable Freestanding Reflex Bag Kit ...I can still tell that it is a quality product, even though I have not had to use it practically, and boiled it too long by mistake.

It was to small for my 13yo mouth because he has braces? The case was perfect & fit well on his baseball bag.

There are cheaper mouth guards out there but I chose this one because of the plastic travel case that came with it. I thought it would be great for my daughter to put her mouth guard in immediately after a lacrosse game to help keep it sanitary. The case is flimsy and I can't imagine it costing more than 3 cents to produce. I am being generous-2 cents perhaps.Hold on, I'm still in the holiday spirit. One cent tops. It will not latch shut meaning her mouth guard will be rolling around in her bag. The mouth guard itself it pretty standard and comparable to cheaper ones available on Amazon. No better, no worse. 2 stars instead of one because the mouth guards do come in great colors. If your are buying this because of the included travel case, look elsewhere.Updated 1/31/2019.
