Life Gear Blue LED Glow Stick & Flashlight with Whistle & Lanyard (LG116)

I have several of these. I've had them for years. I purchased two at a store and then couldn't find them, so I ordered them here. I take these with me to scout camp outs and they are great for our night time camp activities. The kids enjoy playing with the color lights. They're like reusable glow sticks. They make great gifts for a scout or kids who loves camping/outdoors.

I bought one of these for my son to use at Halloween about 5 years ago. I used it 2-3 times per week during the winter for 1/2-1 hour each time while running. It worked well, but the batteries finally wore out. I bought this one for less than $4. It is VERY bright. You won't miss seeing me on the road after dark with this light. It is also nice to have a regular flashlight too. Even if it only lasts a year, for $4, it is worth it.

I use these daily as a substitute bus driver. I’m constantly reading directions in the dark, so using the blue light to read is perfect. I use the regular flashlight for when I complete pre-trip inspections. The only feature I don’t normally use is the flashing.

I originally purchased this for my emergency kit in the car. I like the fact that it has a pretty powerful (for it's size) LED flashlight as well as a warning light and whistle. As a single female traveler (the majority of the time) who goes on long car rides, I felt like this was the best combination of things I might need at a reasonable price.I've had an older version of this product for a few years and while (thankfully) I haven't had to use it often, when I have, it performs well. I haven't had to change the batteries yet, but, as I said, I don't have to take it out too often. The light is good for when I had to change my tire in the dark one night and the whistle is VERY loud.The one I purchased recently is for my office's fire emergency kit. We recently had a fire drill and the illuminated shaft made me easy to spot for my fellow co-workers (I'm the Fire Warden for our Suite). While I didn't have to use the whistle to startle anyone out of their offices, it know that if I had - it would have been effective.My only complaint is I wish the illuminated shaft was a little brighter. It's fine in the dark, but if you need to turn it on during the day (as I did for our fire drill), it's not as easy to see. Overall, it's a good product and does exactly what it says it will.

Had these a long time ago for my kids and now I bought them for the grand kids to use when they are out playing in the evening

I bought one of these at a big box store and it has been handier than expected. First off my 4 year old son loves it and takes it with him everywhere, no more disposable glow sticks! On the adult side they are cheap enough to have one in your glove box, camper, by the door and just about anywhere you can think of. The flash light while not very bright works well to light your path or find something under the couch. I personally like the glowstick mode, I set it on the picnic table at night and it sheds just enough light. FYI there is a timer on the light so it can not be left on to die. I have bought quite a few of these and have them spread all over. I have recommended it to others on several occasions.

Overall it’s a fine product, HOWEVER I choose this over others because it didn’t use the button cell batteries that don’t last very long and are hard to replace. When received I was very disappointed to see that is what the unit uses. Description on Amazon said batteries: 1 AA. WRONG

These are so hard to find, but I’ve been buying them and using them for years! I love to have it to walk my dog at night. We have some street lights, so I don’t really need a flashlight, but I want to be highly visable to cars. I love being able to switch to a flashlight to pick up poop, but not have to have it on flashlight all the time.It’s also super lightweight and good for hiking. It works as an emergency light and whistle- just in case.Also, the whistle can be used to stab someone in case of emergency.

Fast to ship and works as expected. Much better for the environment than using actual non-reusable liquid glow sticks.Works better than reflectors when walking at night.

Bright pink light, works as expected.

Works great, I use it for airsoft as a night time dead light for when I'm hit
