What a great book on preservering prayer and intercession for Christians of this dispensation. Inspiring examples of praying men and women. Oh give us this spirit of prayer and intercession today our Lord and Saviour, the Greatest of all Intercessors.

This book (or rather, set of books) has (have) been such as blessing to me (so far)!Bounds is one of those men who really knew, and tapped into what prayer really is!The first few pages had me questioning his logic, or rather, his theology - however, once we got over that - what a masterpiece!Please, please - do yourself a favour and read Bounds!99p for this classic work on the Kindle? No brainer!

It is evident that this man spent much time with God. The faith of God the impacting words translated by the spirit of God into word form in the book is POWERFUL

This is very thorough and challenging collection of writings that demonstrate the basis and practice of prayer in the life of the Christian. The kind of book you wish you had read much earlier in your Christian life and yet always providing something to attain however far you have reached in your relationship with the Lord.

excellent classic work on prayer

As a Christian for many years, this book has taken away all the glam and thrills talk. The author has dug deep into the prayer life of Chistains using superb examples. It is a shame these preachers are not around today as this is first class teaching on how to build a life long relatilnship with the God the Father.

Bounds discovered that prevailing and persistent prayer gets the ear of God and He delights to answer when His people ask, seek and knock as Jesus told us to do. It is the work of a lifetime but every man and woman who achieved anything for God did so in proportion to the time they spent in prayer. Little prayer little power. Much prayer much power. This book is the classic on the subject of prayer. More things have been wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.
