This is perfect to clever light grout. Paints on nicely. Even used in shower 6 months ago and water does not take it off.Would recommend!

This saved our tile! We recently installed wood plank tile, and had purchased Bahama Beige grout to match. Unfortunately, once the grout dried, it turned outta be a light grey color rather than bahama beige. After doing a ton of research, we ordered this product. It was very easy to put down and totally changed the look of the tile to a more seamless effect that we had originally wanted! Would def. recommend.

This grout sealer works as advertised. But it isn't painless. You need to check all the application information available, the package, their how to video, and the website.Our white grout on white tiles was badly stained when we bought the house and all my scrubbing with bleach didn't get it white again.Here are a few tricks I figured out after doing the laundry room, kitchen, and breakfast area.1. Scrub the grout and let it dry.2. My bottle came with a tapered tip like a restaurant catsup bottle. I cut it at an angle, fairly small. Grab a toothbrush or similar.3. I started in the laundry room, and by the time I got to the kitchen, I figured out to lay a smaller bead of sealer on the grout. Too much sealer leaves a large bead on the tile adjacent to the grout which will give you problems later.4. As shown in the photo, avoid getting too much on the tile, but definitely scub the sealer into open pores of the grout, using a toothbrush or similar small brush.5. Once the sealer dried well, I used a damp microfiber towel to wipe off the excess. First you give the whole area a wiping with not too wet a towel. This causes the sealer to release from the tile. Then with the damp towel concentrate on the sealer on the tiles. If it's thin like in the photo it will just wipe off. If there is a thicker bead on the tile you have to work harder to get it to come off, even using your finger nail.Avoid rubbing the seam directly as this will make the sealer on the grout come off.The manufacturer suggested using a fine scrubbing pad, but I found that if you just touch the grout a little it will remove the sealer.It worked and is much better that regrouting or removing the tile.I did roughly 250sq ft with less than half a bottle.

Been in my house for 21 years. Had tired looking, unsealed grout that I couldn’t get clean no matter what I did. Used this stuff and love it! Clean your grout prior and then paint on with an artist brush pushing into the existing grout with some force. Might go through a few artist brushes but it’s important to seal the existing grout. Yes, this paints and seals.

Do not use this product!!!! I used as directed and the first time I mopped the floor it started coming off!! Now my grout looks 100% worse than before I used this. I have tried to fix it but it only gets worse. The only thing left to do is pay someone to regrout my kitchen!

Directions were really not that good. However, I applied a line of color about the width of a pin along the grout. I then took my finger and ran it along the grout to spread it out. I waited about 15 minutes and took a wet cloth and wiped the extra colorant off of the tile.

After living with white grout for years I learned about this product and came to Amazon to buy it. I have about 300 sq ft of tile with white grout in my home and it’s been difficult to keep it clean. I hired a cleaner to professionally clean the tile and grout and then I set to work. I watched videos and read techniques on how to apply and tried them all.After painting the grout in a large area and going back to clean this off the tile edges, the sealant came off many of the grout lines as well. Some places were more obvious than others. But it meant I had to redo a lot of places.What worked the best for me was to pour some on a plate, dip a small paint brush into it and paint only the grout lines. I would clean up the lines with a damp rag as soon as I was done. That gave it a clean edge without the product coming off the grout.This was a lot of work and took many hours to complete. It looks great now that it’s done. I hope it holds up well.
