I bought this set primarily for the flat circle burner. It worked exactly as I needed. I used the wood burner for several hours straight and did not experience any issues. I would recommend this set for someone just starting out. It wasn't too expensive and has several tips to choose from and experiment with. Overall a good buy.

I havent don't wood burning in like 20 years, so I wasnt sure how it would go. It works OK. It was kind of a one time project I needed it for. The thing that bothered me the most about it is that the handle still gets pretty hot. It doesn't seem to be insulated very well.

Nice design allowing for easy use and protection from the heat at the tip. Heats up quickly, is lightweight and easy to control and use.

Heats well. Really like the multiple tips. Unit gets too hot in the black grid area known as the stay cool handle. My other burner stays insulated but this unit you will feel the heat.

I tried another one from Amazon, a no name like all the others and it lasted for one use, so I decided to buy a quality one if I could find one and found one made by Weller. Weller is one of top brands of soldering irons, so I knew this would be good as it is essentially the same as a soldering iron. It is very high quality and works way better than anything else in Amazon. I highly recommend. I recommend buying this and also buy the cheap no-name tips on Amazon.

I bought this woodburning kit for a personal art project, and was really satisfied with its performance. This is the first woodburning kit I've ever purchased, but it was, as is kind of the nature of the product, very easy to use.The iron heats up quite quickly, and it did take me some time to pick and choose the right attachment for each aspect of my project - this kit comes with plenty of attachments to serve any need you might have. I haven't had any defects of any kind with this kit.If you want to get into pyrography, I think this kit is a great way to start - a great value for money and easy to use.

Was not easy to use. Was actually quite hard to hold. Removal was complicated which is actually what led to it being broke was the thread stripped. It was not very functional. Design had to buy another one. I will never buy another one like this one again no matter how many times I've tried to take the picture it doesn't show up well cuz that's a tiny dark hole to try to show with a zoomed in lens damaged threads
