RAVIAD 3 in 1 Magnetic Charging Cable

I bought this lead to carry in my backpack with my power bank so I can charge my Android phone (USB C), iPad and MP3 player (Micro USB) on the go. The immediate impression of the product is that it's well made and feels as though it will last. One slight omission (which I know would affect the price) is that it would have been nice to have small case supplied to avoid losing the two magnetic heads that you aren't using.Changing the plugs over is easy and the magnets between the cable head and plug are strong. I found the plugs initially seem a little loose compare to a normal one but just require a slight extra push before locating into the device to be charged nice and firmly. The blue LED circle around the cable plug shows that power is being received.Overall, this is a good product and I can imagine that the 1M version is more popular for use on the move. This works well and is made to a good standard but my concern is that you could easily lose one of the spare heads.

Using this all the time now to charge my old Huawei P10 (why replace it when it works fine). Led lights up at the magnetic end of the cable, seems to charge at the same rate as my old cable even though it is a metre longer. Full charge from 30% to full in just over 30 mins. I am using the cable together with the fast charge plug that came with my phone so I cannot say how well it charges just plugged into a normal wall USB socket. Just remember that if you have your phone in a protective case like I do to remove the magnetic insert from the bottom of the phone, as I found out when I forgot about it & took my phone out my case to clean it and the magnetic insert flew across the room. I just walked about with the magnetic end of the cable which found the insert on the floor for me. Impressed with the strength of the magnet. My son is also impressed with the charging and magnet strength, he is using his cable to charge his wireless headphones from the USB in the front of his pc.

I bought this because my wife has one and it is excellent, they save wear and tear on the charging outlet of whatever gadget is being charged.I bought from the same manufacturer so that we could use each others charging leads but I have three different types of charging sockets and these three covered everything I needed to charge.Unfortunately only two out of the three male plugs worked. I did ask the seller if they could send a replacement plug but according to them they don’t have these separately and gave me a small refund to compensate for the faulty item. This is very nice of them but I still need to replace the faulty plug so will have to purchase another set of leads that include the charging end I need.The charger is also very slow to charge anything, so even though I was compensated for the poor quality of the goods I can’t recommend this item on the one I purchased, my wife’s though is the same manufacturer and is excellent so make of it what you will

I can't fault this cable thus far, except for one small detail which you don't notice until you own it. Build quality wise I'm very happy, the cable has a braided cover, which is nice, and you're supplied with three tips, Micro USB, USB C and Apple Lightning, so this will plug into any modern smartphone. The magnetic connection is reassuringly strong, enough to hold a P20 Pro and swing it gently, and it seems to support fast charging, I certainly didn't experience charging taking any longer then I'm used to.So that one annoying detail? The cable has a blue ring light at the magnet end and it's shockingly bright. You won't notice how bringing it actually is during the day, but if you leave your phone by the bedside to charge overnight it's disturbing, almost as bright as a small night light, and the fact it's blue light won't help with your sleep.My solution was to draw around the light with a black permanent marker to drastically reduce the brightness, so bear this detail in mind if purchasing...

Excellent charger - lengthy, easy to use, with three charger options. Select the correct charger end for your phone and pop it in, as you would a normal charger. The charger end has the usual charger connection, but is just like a little button, with a round magnetic connector. This charger end stays in the phone, you plug in the cable, and connecting the two is literally as easy at possible - you just have to get them near to each other, and the magnets snap together. The connection is safe and firm, but easy enough to pull apart once charged. The cable charges at exactly the same rate as a 'regular' charger, so no loss of power or anything like that. Love this cable and the flexibility (in both senses) that it provides. Just one thing - depending on your phone case, you may not be able to use this. I have a Galaxy Note 10, and had bought a full glass case with metal surround, but the opening for the charger was just the standard slit. The charger end would not fit, because the button part of the charger end would not fit through the slit.

The media could not be loaded.  If you have young children who just yank cables from their devices, like me you will have replaced their charging cables several times. These solve the problem!Quality braided cable, and it just works.Strong enough magnet. Easy (and fun) for a child to use.The blue light band around the end is permanently on. I guess this helps you find the end if you're in a car or a dark for example, but it's something to be aware of!If you're wondering about whether to get these circular cable connectors or the oblong ones you also see in the listings then consider this. The circular cable ends connect no matter which way round they are rotated 1 o clock, 3 o clock 3tc. The oblong ones need to be aligned at either 6 or 9 o clock. I think the circular design is a step up in usability. Hope that makes sense....
