UPDATE** Finished first one and it came out beautifully. New Image shows completed and just how much thread is left over!! Also stem stitch is best for all the stems just have to do a couple rows in the thick areas. **Still working on My first one with only a minor learning curve. I need to go back and fill in a bunch of gaps but I was afraid I would run out of thread so I was being cautious. However, I think there is plenty of thread for the project! I didn't do all the stitches as stated on the instructions I.E. the bottom stems. I couldn't figure out how a stem stitch would fill in the space so I just just did the satin stitch and then stem stitch in the thinner area. The great thing is it really doesn't matter. It still will come out beautifully no matter what stitches you do!

I love how the cloths are different in colors but the theme is the same. The pictures look big and intimidating but when you look at the patterns and instructions deeply, the stitches are easy to follow and do. It's not too complicated when you have the time and energy to start and continue sewing it.

Love the flowers, and I change some colors and designs. A lot of fun. Making hang made quilt with them.

Includes all the supplies needed to get started. I had to refer to some online tutorials on the stitches but otherwise a great product.

Pros: Nice designs, good variety of colors and lots of thread, contains all you need to start (needle, threader, hoops, thread, pattern, fabric, scissors).Cons: The thread is not good quality: it bunches and knots easily, and its luster (some colors are actually dull) is in no way comparable to that of more expensive established brands. As a result, your work will not be as delicate and pretty as it could be. The hoops are some of the worst I have ever come across: the fabric does not stay taunt, and it doesn't grip it efficiently. As a result, it is harder to to work the needle through the fabric, you constantly have to re-tighten the grip. The scissors are laughable, really. These cannot cut thread at all - they went straight to the garbage.Conclusion: if you do not think you really want to commit to embroidery and are just looking for a hobby to pass time, then I would say this is an okay buy. But if you are looking to maybe start embroidering a little more often than just once in your life, skip this. You will only get mad at the bad quality items, and end up not giving embroidery a fair chance from your bad experience with the sub-par materials this kit includes.

A colleague inspired me to try embroidery. She was doing a kit like this. I spent a long time choosing which on to pick. I used to live in the mountains and so was very excited to try this 3 scene kit. Sadly, one of the kits I received was previously used (see pics)! The parts for the 3rd kit were loose in the bag. The fabric was stretched on the frame and has floss stitched on it. The person who used the kit did it badly and did not separate the thread. They put the entire floss through the same hole multiple times shredding the fabric. So much floss was wasted I couldn't finish the kit even if the fabric wasn't already ruined.
