This book has a lot of great photos, but does have some inaccuracies. Highlights are the great photos overall, particularly of the Diaphragm Gas Masks (also Navy Diaphragm [ND]) MI and (ND) MII; lowlights are the identification of an Army Produced Navy Diaphragm Optical Mark I as an Army Optical Gas Mask MI,some of the history discussions (training gas masks, for example) and the terminology used overall - the author explained it, but the Army used specific terminology for many masks which was often ignored in this book. On the whole, however, this book is a good reference for US Gas Mask collectors, particularly for the photos.
