Batik Embroidered V-Neck Sleeveless Blouse

This top is absolutely lovely... after alterations. The blue colours are beautiful. The only problem is the one size fit all does not fit all! If you are a size 4 or smaller, you will have to sew it so your bra is not visible under your armpit area. I am not talking about a little bra showing, but the whole side strap plus about an inch or two of skin under that. And it is not because I am short, I am 5'8". The gap was enormous...... I could actually fit my thigh and still had extra space.... yes, I tried it because I could not believe how big the opening was and also because I am mentally irregular. To solve it, I took my needle and some thread and closed up the gap on the top and took it in a few inches on the sides. After the alterations it looked great. I find that for a small person, it seems to be too much fabric and too big of an opening for the arms. I still plan on buying other colours because this top is really beautiful. I would have given it a 5 but because of the extra work to make it look good, I gave it a 4....that is how impressed I am with the look of the top. Now mind you... I am quite tolerant and a 4 for me could easily be a 2 for someone else... specially one who can not sew. ;)

Size is dead on! One Size: ( US Size 0-14, Length 30" Measured Top Shoulder to Hem)Nice fit and very flattering.icky smell - wash in white vinegar and cold water and line dry -to set the dye AND get that smell out!If I paid the "Original " Price: $69.99 I would be upset to have to set the dye and work on the smell! but for 20 bucks - that is fine!The colors - the picture has gold threads and lavender and purple material.... NOPE the purple is actually more vivid and beautiful on the one I received and the threads are all a silvery lavender - I love what I got but it is not as pictured. So again - if I paid the "Original" price I would be upset - but for 20 bucks and something I like better than what I thought I was getting, I am happy.

Easy, Breezy, Cool, Comfortable, Soft and Lightweight, absolutely perfect for summer! Exactly what I expected from this garment.A few things you may want to be aware of before you make your purchase. This is a gauze garment. Gauze is a very loose weave cotton fabric. This isn't the kind of garment you just throw in the washer and dryer. If you do, you will more than likely have results similar to those who do not like this garment. This could be one of your all-time favorite pieces in your summer wardrobe, if you hand wash, roll it in a dry towel and squeeze excess water (do not wring), hang to finish drying. Because the weave is as loose as it is, seams are delicate, as are the embellishments. Washing in your washer and drying in your dryer is too aggressive.Don't get hung up on sizes. Size up, maybe even two sizes. Gauze is meant to be worn loose. If you have hang ups about your bra strap showing, or the arm wholes being to big and showing the sides of your bra, wear a tank top. I usually wear a pretty patterned bra with my tops and no one knows it's a bra. I already mentioned that this weave is loose...that can make it appear sheer when you are standing against light. What are people going to see? They'll see the outline of your body, not your moles, freckles or anything embarrassing. I love wearing gauze clothing. Honestly, take care of it and it'll get softer with age. Now, I dare you to go buy gauze Capri pants or skirt...you will be hooked.

The blouse looks beautiful, the color I got is a gorgeous red with golden yellow, the material is a light airy, gauzy feel fabric that stays cool. The attention to detail gives these blouses a nice touch of class, the fabric is either 100% cotton or a cotton rayon blend made in India, also the instructions is for hand wash in cold water separately, hang to dry ( don't hang out in the sun, it may fade the dye), do not twist or wring. Putting these gorgeous blouses in the washer and dryer will ruin the beautiful detailing and will shrink. I wash by hand in cool to cold water using Woolite for delicate, just dip a couple of times, swish and rinse, hang to air dry in the shade or in the shower. The size is a "free size" that fits up to a 14, possibly a 16 in some, if you are on the smaller side the arm holes will be a bit longer and is advisable to wear a half tank underneath in the same color or a close match as the upper part of the top. The arm holes conceal nicely on me, I'm a size 12/14 in tops. I bought 6 of the blouses in different styles and colors, all I need to buy now is white shorts/capri and white pants.I highly recommend SAKKAS 100%. Kinda shocked when I opened the package. Very cheap material, doesn't look like cotton. Immediately returned it and do not recommend

Very pretty top, esp. with the embroidered accents. No problem with the fit. I wear size 14-16 and it fit well. As with other one size fits all, I made sure I read the reviews. Some people that wear a large size said it fit great, others not. Some that wear a small size said it was too tight. Very conflicting reviews, so I thought I would take a chance. Fits good, looks dressy or can wear it casual. Only problem I foresee is that the back of the embroidery has some loose threads, but not affecting the outside of the top. It can easily be fixed by sewing the loose threads down so that it doesn't unravel with repeated use. Will hand wash in cold and line dry. Don't know if that will make a difference in the fit, but if so, I will add to this review. I really love the style and trim.I washed it in cold water and line dried. The color did bleed, but once I wash it a few more times, I don't think the color will bleed anymore. Did not shrink. My suggestion is that you really need to hand wash and do not put in the dryer. The material is so delicate, regular washer and dryer will probably damage the top. Still love this top.

You couldn't wear a regular bra under this top as the neckline is rather different. That said it is pretty and comforable.

This is actually nicer than the photo. I love it. I have worn it a lot since purchase and people always comment on it. It's a very light cotton, ideal for the current weather, but it's not transparent. It looks lovely with trousers and the easy fit makes it cool and easy to wear. It doesn't crease too much and the gold thread on the patterning makes it a bit special. I do wash this seperately as the darker colour does come out a bit in the water but then batik oten does this. I like the fact that the material has not been skimped on so there is a lovely soft flow to the top and it's plenty big enough on the hips while fitting well at the top.

Very nice and airy for the summer

Love this top, just right for holidays. I am size 12 and it fits perfectly. Nice and floaty, very comfy and cool. Well made as well. Already have another top from the same seller (not the same style) so am thinking of going back for more! Well worth the money.

This is a fabulous top! The fabric is light weight and breezy. Very cool on a hot day. Fits beautifully and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anybody. Washes well too.
