Better than I expected!
If you’re a Dungeon Master or GM, please buy yourself this book. I’ve been running RPG fantasy games like DnD, Pathfinder, and Shadowrun for decades and THIS is probably one of the most USEFUL books I’ve ever seen. If only I’d bought it sooner. Whether you’re running a campaign or just throwing together a quick “one shot” adventure, this book will give you TONS of great ideas to build really fun games. I’m definitely going to buy more books from the Game Masters library from now on.

Beautifully Made and Perfect for Any Game Master
I bought this book as a gift for a friend who loves running chaotic and creative D&D sessions, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. A creative, well-designed, and thorough DMing resource
Jeff Ashworth and his team have done it again with this beautiful tome of traps and puzzles. While there are many gaming resources dedicated to monster stat blocks and literally infinite dungeon maps thanks to random generators, comparatively little attention has been paid to non-combat challenges parties might face. This book remedies that handily with hundreds of pages of traps and riddles DMs can draw inspiration from. There is a broad range of different resources here ranging from a list of riddles and instructions on how to encrypt a message to maps, rollable tables, scenarios, and even entire one-shots. As with Ashworth’s other resources, the book is best thought of as a jumping-off point and he rightly encourages reskinning the content to fit. I would suggest reading through and modifying favorites ahead of time rather than attempting to employ one of these on the fly given the risk of accidentally murdering your party, but a table is provided for picking a trap room at random if you’ve got a lot of confidence in your players (or at least in their Constitution and Intelligence modifiers). The book itself is well-designed with lovely illustrations and well-keyed maps. I also like the thoughtful touch that, as with previous volumes, “Traps, Dungeons, and Puzzles” is precisely the same dimensions as standard D&D books and sits handsomely next to them on a bookshelf. Not everything in here will be suitable for every party. I know, for instance, the cipher puzzles and codes would be a little too dense as written for the pacing at my table. But even these could be modified, simplified, and used in some creative way to break up the hacking and slashing. Highly recommend any DM looking to deepen and enrich their quests pick up this volume.

Great Gift
I got this as a Christmas present for my brother. He instantly enjoyed it. Last time I saw him was this morning; he’s been reading the book and coming up with quests. Don’t know if I should be afraid or just wait to see what he has in store for next game.

I mean, the traps in the book are perfecty and so easy to implement in any game. I think i abused too much on them cause i love the ideas and the traps. The party loved when one of the lost their face on a glue bucket (spoiler: they didnt) Or when i throw them on a magic trap where they change positions all the time and the ghouls start to teleport with them. (spoiler: it didnt ended very well).

Un ottimo manuale (primo di una serie di tre) compatibile con la 5a edizione del gioco di ruolo più famoso al mondo, dal prezzo molto contenuto e ricco di contenuti per espandere le proprie avventure con trappole e trabocchetti personalizzabili con tabelle casuali. Include anche tre brevi avventure che è possibile giocare da sole o inframezzare a campagne più lunghe. Le pagine patinate e le illustrazioni a due colori lo rendono un prodotto economico ma di qualità. Assolutamente consigliato se non vi spaventa la lingua inglese.

Dont get me wrong the book is perfect. I just dont like how packaging is just the carton amazon box/envelope without anything else protecting the book itself.
