This is a delightful wind chime made from three green wine bottle rings suspended from a handmade copper top. The piece is embellished with glass beads. The lovely sound adds yet another dimension of beauty to your outdoor living space. This wind chime measures approximately 6" x 13.5" (15 cm x 34 cm), including the copper hanger. All Illume Glass Studio wind chimes are handcrafted in my East Texas Pineywoods studio, from the hand-cut glass pieces to the meticulously strung beads. I use only high quality materials, including all glass beads and genuine copper crimps. My wine bottle wind chimes are constructed using slices from recycled wine bottles that have been melted in a kiln to form rings and properly annealed (a cooling technique) for a durable glass piece. This wind chime is strung using nylon coated 7 strand stainless wire, that is knotted and secured with copper crimps for durability. These chimes may be left outdoors through rain and mild wind. It is suggested to shelter these wind chimes when winds are expected to be high in order to prevent breakage.
