I have been trying these out over the last several days and I have to say so far I'm very impressed with them and the results I've achieved by using them.This is certainly a formidable looking set of tools, but they really do the job. There are 4 double ended metal rods and a pair of very fine and precise tweezers. On the ends of the rods are different shaped metal loops for applying pressure to the skin on different areas of the face in order to extract the blackheads. It has been very much trial and error to see which tool worked best.The instruments seem to be robustly and strongly made. I've applied quite a bit of pressure to them during use and they've not bent or broken. The handles have grips cut into them which is very useful in helping me to keep hold of them when I'm pressing down hard. As they are metal I will be able to clean and sterilise them easily enough, they come in a small compact case as well.On the downside, the set doesn't include any instructions on how to use or clean the instruments. But even so I still think this is a very useful, practical and well chosen range of tools for removing blackheads.

I'm not keen on being overly brutal on my face, but in recent months I have experienced spots that have left behind a tiny hard deeply in-bedded plug that continues to irritate my skin for days on end after the main phase of the spot has ended, disrupting the healing process. It's a bit like having a splinter - the skin keeps weeping around it. It's impossible to remove these plugs with cleansers, pore treatments, finger squeezing, and because the irritation goes on for so long, these are usually the spots that leave the worst post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. Some of the tools in this set are really helpful for removing these plugs. They are not something I'd use on every spot because the vast majority of spots are best left alone, but these tools have their place. The set contains 5 multifunction tools giving a total 9 different shaped ends for various purposes. I strongly recommend finding a video tutorial on how to use them correctly and safely as some of the tools are extremely sharp. They will need sterilising before each use. They appear well made and come in a hand storage box that closes tight. At the current price of £3.99 they are excellent value.

No part of the kit is particularly difficult to get right in terms of execution but each piece here feels noticeably lacking in quality.I'm sure these will help you in a pinch, at home, if you're looking to casually work on problem areas of skin.But there are sharp edges left by the manufacturing process where there shouldn't be, the tweezers are slightly misaligned, and I think your face deserves better, y'know?

I love the value for money with this product you get many priding sticks with different ends. There are a couple of really sharpe ends for major prodding. I used one on a blackhead on my ear so cannot really say how well I did as it is in an awkward place. I am not sure if I am doing it correctly having only watched Dr Popper but with practice and a big spot I think I am all set.
