My doctor recommended this unit and use it from early October to March. I notice I feel calmer and less sad on days I use light-box. I also take less naps. . I still take my medications, but the 25 minutes in the morning with the light-box illuminated help me greatly. The unit is well made. My only complaint is that it's a little bulky to set up near my computer. I usually set it on wood storage box when sunning myself.
