As someone who has been in the low voltage electrician role for almost 3 decades now, I have left my share of bare wires behind to be terminated. By using these ferrules, I can now prevent getting any stray strands of copper stuck under my skin and provide a completely finished appearance to my jobs. This kit firmly crimps all of the wire under the ferrule and will reduce the possibility of a circuit shorting out from a straggler and it also reduces the amount of work and time it takes to connect a wire to a device. It would be nice if there was some type of item other than a terminal block which allowed you to quickly make junctions of the ferruled wiring, but for the time being, screw down terminal strips are about the only available option that I’m aware of. This item is well made and has no ‘play’ or slop to it when you are using it like some other compression tools I’ve used in the past. Well worth the expense.

They seem ok, But when I buy something I want what I saw. They slipped in some cheap knock off crimps in there. Dasgutes is the brand name of the crimps you actually receive.

I bought this to put ends on my wires for my 3d printer and uf i had no prior experience i still wouldve found this a great value and very easy to use and the tool and ferrules are great quality
