Happy customer
Love this. Its the perfect size for my deck box, seems very sturdy, directions were clear and easy to follow. Looks exactly as pictured. Once the new combo was set, it was simple to operate. Appears to be pretty compact and not readily "chomped" by bolt cutters. I'm not expecting a miracle but I'm hoping, this coupled with the servalance cameras, it works as somewhat of a deterrent to would be "Porch Pirates!"

Won’t open
Bought it for an outdoor breaker box. Needed to open it last night. To my surprise it didn’t open. Button doesn’t budge at all. I checked and rechecked the passcode and it opened and closed just fine prior to locking my breaker box with it. It’s spent. less than six months outside and it’s broken. Poor quality. We’re still without power. Called customer service and it went straight to voicemail. Emailed and no response. Probably will have to spent quadruple the amount to purchase tools or call a locksmith out.

Excellent outdoor gate or shed lock
I'm using this to lock some gates and wanted to go with a combination lock to make it easier to share access. I did my research and even though they can be harder to find in the U.S., Squire locks are very high quality and this is one of the better combination locks out there. It was very easy to set and change the combination, and the wheels are slightly larger and easier to manipulate than on other similar sized locks I've used. It's already been through some major storms and hopefully will continue to hold up well over time.

Great lock, but 40mm combo dials are small
Great lock for our backyard gate, waterproof and handles all 4 seasons.Only frustrating part is the combination dials are quite small on this 40mm model and I occasionally spin more than one at a time unintentionally.I have a larger, 50mm by Squire that has bigger dials, which I'd recommend over this one.

Lock
This lock works and shank is a good size so I am using it for now. However the numbers you turn on the lock body to unlock are very small. Would prefer a larger lock for the gate with larger numbers.

This lock is hard to unlock
I bought this lock because it's supposed to be an all weather lock and it may well be. However, now that I have tried to unlock it a few times I have been very frustrated at how difficult it is to get all of the tumblers set exactly in place to unlock it. I'm going to have to replace it with the old outdoor combo lock (or maybe a keyed lock) that I had for about 5 years before it rusted out.
