Brilliant little gadget. Powerful enough for smaller jobs, buy a dremel if you want a professional device, but for little tasks it's great. You can possibly use dremel bits on this device. Battery life unknown as just got it.

Great little tool, handy for my model making.

So far so good with this item, though a couple of niggles lose a star. The drill bits are not very sharp and blunted very quickly, and there are only three of them. I have ordered another set of mini bits so I'm hopeful that will help. The box doesn't close properly and this must have been known by the seller, as they provided an elastic band. Helpful I suppose but I would prefer a functional box. The other issue is having to frequently change collets when changing to different attachments, and it seems of the shaft size were standardised less collet changing would be required. Other than that, it charged well, lasts long enough (so far, I haven't had to recharge yet) and it's really helpful for my craft projects. So far I've drilled a few holes in various materials and used the different sanding tools for smoothing and shaping a small project in clay. It's powerful enough for my needs, not too loud and quite versatile.

Small but mighty - this small grinder/mini drill/polisher is so versatile and powerful for it's size is so value for money and perfect for us railway modellers! It sits comfortably in the hand and provides a reassuring heaviness which proves it is robust. The various and many accessories that come with the Pen Grinder are easy to change plus it looks good to boot! I would fully recommend this product which is rare for me as I expect the highest quality from all my purchases and this product definitely meets the requirements.

A great tool but sadly it wasn’t powerful enough for the job I bought it for so had to return it. But it appears to be good enough for many hobby type jobs and comes with all kinds of attachments

The tool works reasonably well but the light fails to come on. This is important to me for doing pretty intricate, detailed work. I reached out to the supplier via Amazon to give them a chance to sort it but have had no response at all. I'm debating whether to try and make do or return it - the lack of any response from the seller makes me wonder if a refund would be straightforward. EDIT After conversations with the seller (Cute Magic) they have replaced the faulty item and I'm pleased to say the new one works perfectly and I'm happy to re-evaluate it to 5 stars for both the tool itself (which I'm not very happy with) and Cute Magic's customer service in pouring the problem right.

Wanted something lighter than my dremel for small projects. Started off promising but after one charge- the battery cuts out after around a minute and it flashes low battery- plug it in to be shown that it’s fully charged 🤷🏻‍♀️ Can’t use it while it’s plugged into the charger as it rattles itself loose instantly. Can’t say if my unit is just faulty or if it’s a common defect. Issued a return! **Edit Seller reached out offering a replacement or a refund- no return necessary. I accepted and cancelled the return. However the seller has since gone AWOL and neglected to honour their offer and the return window has now closed. I will now have to escalate this issue to Amazon! DO NOT ACCEPT SELLER RESOLUTIONS!!!

I've already bought a 'smaller' version of this device (different brand) and wanted something just that little bit stronger. This looked to be the one but in reality it wasn't and was actually quite feeble in use - often stalling the second it was put to use which is no good. One has to be realistic and understand they aren't going to be cutting concrete blocks with these things but milling out a few mm of plastic or cutting a brass M3 bolt should be quite easy. The kit is great value for money despite the limitation but this particular device just doesn't cut the mustard. (see what I did there!) **BIG TIP - always wear protective eyewear as the cutting discs these devices come with shatter easily and launch themselves without warning.
