Wedgwood Butterfly Bloom Plates, Set of 4

Just received these plates yesterday. I already have assorted pieces from the Wedgwood Daisy Tea Story and couldn't resist buying some Butterfly Bloom pieces as well. The plates are absolutely beautiful, can't wait for the teacups/saucers to arrive. I plan to use Butterfly Bloom for breakfast, they are so cheery and pretty, just looking at them puts me in a good mood. :) The quality is great too, just what you'd expect from Wedgwood, patterns all applied perfectly, gold trim perfect too.

Whimsical patterns set in vibrant colors. Bought these plates for my personal collection, am very happy with the purchase. The quality is superb.

These plates are beautiful. I had ordered for a friend as a Christmas gift and then also ordered a set for myself. And much less on amazon than at Macy's. Come in a gorgeous box as well!

I love these plates. Another reviewer says these are made in Asia but I cannot confirm or deny that because mine do not say "Made in _____" anywhere on it. All my other Wedgwood pieces say "Made in England" (I won't buy them if they say they are made anywhere else) and my dishes are all nearly as ancient as I am, however I recently purchased 2 Wedgwood mugs from Harrods (in London, of course) that are of the same Spring Blossom collection and they also do not say where they are made. These are recent models so it is possible Wedgwood changed their signature at the bottom, and I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of these plates OR the mugs sold by Harrods. That being said, let me tell you about the plates themselves. Beautiful, delicate, and artsy. They are the perfect size for sandwiches or to serve sweets with your afternoon tea. The coloring is good, bright not faded, however I do want to note that it is not entirely what I expected. As I said, I bought 2 mugs from Harrods that matched 2 of the 4 plate patterns. Upon opening the box of plates, I immediately noticed that, despite having identical designs, the mugs had significantly more gold (real or fake I do not know) incorporated into it than the plates did. To be specific, the plates do not have any gold in its design except for the rim. Where there is gold in the mug the plates have replaced it with a matte gold-brown paint. I was a little disappointed in their lack of gold because I think the addition of the gold makes them an 'over the top' pretty. Without the gold in the design, the plates are a bit more dull and, simply put, less pretty. I do not know if these plates are a different version (and hence why they are being sold so cheap...the Wedgwood website sells them for 75 POUNDS...thats roughly $125) or if the plates were never designed with gold in them. Either way, for the price you are paying they are still beautiful, arrived safely in the cutest little Wedgwood box, and I can safely say that I am happy I bought them.

These plates were little bigger than I expected amd not as elegant as seen here vs real life. However it is a set to my 2 tier stand and tea & Saucer set so I will keep it. All three sets (plates, 2 tier stand and tea set) may be "too much" to use all at once but. I think it would be better to mix up.

I love them!! It is so gorgeous and beautiful print! I was worried about if it is an authentic product or not. I'm still not sure that because the plastic bag surrounding each plate was written by Chinese and English. However as you can see in the picture which is written WEDGWOOD ENGLAND 1759 at the back side of the plate. Can I assume that it is a genuine product? It is just written WEDGWOOD ENGLAND. As someone mentioned, I also can't find any word Made in ~~. It's weird. Anyway I'm really happy to get these lovely plates. If you want to buy them, don't hesitate and just click on the mouse. I truly recommend it ♡♡♡ (I'm not good at English ㅜㅜ) 먼저 구매하신 분 후기에 Made in ~~라고 적혀진게 없다고 해서 걱정했었는데 >**< ; 제것도 Made in~ 이란 메세지가 없어 정품에 대한 의문은 여전히 갑니다 ㅜㅜ. 왠지 중국에서 만들고 뒤에 찍은 느낌 ㅜㅜ 휴~~ 게다가 보통 웨지우드는 페인트같은 프린트로 찍어두는 느낌인데 ㅜㅜ...이 접시에는 뭔가 그런 느낌과는 달라서 진품여부는 여전히 의문이네요. ??? 그래도 ENGLAND 라고 적혀있는 것에 위안을 삼으려고요. 불빛에 비추니 투명은 하네요. 무엇보다 접시들이 너무 사랑스러워서 앙앙앙~~ 만족합니당^^ 망설이지 마시고 겟 하세요!!! 강추예요, 강추!!!

Aus meiner persönlichen Sicht sind diese Teller wunderschön, haben leuchtende Farben, die authentisch noch besser sind als auf der Abbildung. Die Machart ist edel, like Wedgwood, qualitativ hochwertig. Die Umverpackung hält da nicht mit. Aber es ist ja auch nur die Umverpackung. Klare Empfehlung.

Good quality, pretty colors. Solid and heavy plates and really are as pretty as on the picture!
