I wasn't sure if this actually work, but it does! And it is Awesome! IMO this is the best way to cut fresh pineapple. Easy to use, easy to clean. Very sturdy.

I used to dread cutting up pineapples. It was such a messy, time-consuming chore! But this SameTech peeler/corer/slicer has made it so much easier.What I loved:* Speed: It really does peel, core, and slice a whole pineapple in seconds. No more wrestling with a knife and losing half the fruit in the process.* Perfect rings: The rings come out beautifully.* Sturdy: The stainless steel blade seems durable, and the handle provides a good grip.Why not 5 stars?* The wedger: The little plastic tool for cutting the rings into chunks is kind of flimsy. I ended up just using a knife.* Cleanup: While it's dishwasher safe, the blade can be a bit tricky to clean thoroughly.Overall:Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, this tool has become a kitchen essential for me. If you eat pineapple regularly, it's definitely worth the investment!

Husband loves it for cutting up pineapple!! Daughter loves the size of the slices. She says daddy usually cuts them too small and the slice cuts them the right size. It works perfectly although he feels it wastes a little bit of the pineapple along the walls. It cores perfectly and saves him time when he's prepping her school lunches.

This gadget is AWESOME!! I passed over it figuring it was flimsy and wouldn't work but finally gave it a shot after buying my last pineapple and making a sticky mess of my kitchen. I'm a senior citizen and always concerned about strength needed for certain gadgets. Putting the "toothy" end in the center didn't need any pressure. Twisting the handle met no resistance and took no strength. If you enjoy fresh pineapple DO NOT hesitate to get this! The handle snaps on easily...detaches easily and cleans up in a snap

This thing is cool. Just remember to stick in and rotate with a little pressure. Slices cleanly. And the dicing attachment is easy to just push down.

I had one of these before that broke after a couple years. We always buy fresh pineapples and I use this to remove the core out of the middle. This work great. If the pineapple is a bit over rip and mushy, then you have to push as you are turning the handle. That may be difficult for some that are weak or elderly. The cutter just won't grab the core and the handle will just spin. It is fairly easy to pull the core out of the rind. This unit come with a plastic slicer which I thought was worthless and then I tried it. It works surprisingly well. They are fairly easy to clean. They are a little on the cheap side, but if itworks for a year ot two, that's fine with me.
