Leatger-like repair tape for car seat
Rhis was for my husbands car seat. He said ut worked well and will probably need again since dealer has fixed but they refused to fix again. That was the purpose of his purcgase, tho i bet ill find anotger use for it!! Lol

Just what I needed
Not at all what I feared. I just kept picturing many sofas held together with tape. My couch is very stiff lines and has some chrome. So I had an eye problem and couldn’t cut my kitty’s nails. I ended up with six rips in one of the cushions from 2” to about 8”. Yikes. So I tried a patch kids with glue and coloring. It looked ok but in the sun you could see everything. So I gave up and decided to try this tape. It got better instantly. With three slightly overlapping strips the pleather has just the right look to fit in.

Save a couple bucks and use duct tape
The tape works as advertised and seems to adhere well enough. It does not have a leather appearance though and looks exactly like “plumbers” or duct tape. Had I known I would have bought a $3 duct tape but it does look better than the rip so there’s that.

You're better off buying electrical tape
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered this product because it was the only one that I could find that matched the measurements needed for my project. It was also more expensive than most of the other options on here so I assumed that it would be of decent quality. Unfortunately it looks like electrical tape and is nothing like leather or even faux leather. It's shiny, completely smooth and thin. Overall very frustrating and a total waste of time and money.

Does not hold up
Initial application went on smoothly and looked pretty decent (you're rarely going to get an exact match with any repair tape). The tape stuck well and is still adhering good. After only a few months, the tape is starting to fray on the edges and the colored layer is peeling off the backing. I had realistic expectations, but unfortunately the product failed to meet them.

Perfect for mending a office chair
The quality is perfect and color match is perfect. Easy to apply just cut to appropriate length!
