Removable Manuscript Tape

This stuff is AWESOME. The stickiness as about the same as a post it. It stays on when you want it to and comes off easily without damaging the music. For some lines, I moved it several times to get it exactly where I wanted it and it still stuck fine. I was using it for a musical score book so I didn't have to read tenor clef on the fly (amateur here, don't play it enough). We also had a couple of songs where the vocal director changed the key using a software that gave me 7 sharps. Rewrote those lines to be easier to read. I also used it to re-write some sections down an octave. I could have just played them down, but using the tape was so easy to do that it was worth it to reduce the amount of concentration I needed, especially towards the end of playing a 2 1/2 musical. Removing it was also much easier than erasing would have been since it was a rented musical score.

We originally bought this as a joke. When our conductor wanted the saxes to play a difficult passage we were going to zero it out and say there is nothing there but a rest, but as it turns out it is really a great tool. There were several measures of rest and the conductor wanted to write in a part, so we used the tape. It is now in the hands of another sax player, who is also using it.

So I don't know about you or what made you search this product but what I do know is misprints are real. This is a common issue that occurs in the music industry. I had a director that always marked up his copy of the score to fix all of the mistakes in his book. The issue with that is it looked too confusing for the new director when he came and to take his predecessor's place. With this I find it easier and more convenient to write in the full measure versus writing on top around and all over the score just to fix one note.

Too narrow to be useful. Much smaller than standard manuscript so doesn’t line up with any staff paper that I have, anyway.

This is a terrific product -- a great invention and size fits most manuscript sheets. It will adhere to the manuscript page but is easily moveable if need be.

The brand I used to buy was unavailable so I tried this. The adhesive is much too weak. I added it to a live performance chart to notate specific riffs and it constantly curled away from the page which is a terrible distraction. It is NOT similar to a post-it note! THEY stay in place. I just ordered another brand and hope is performs better.

Perfect goof tape..it is the right width and sticks

Great for making flash cards for the average music theory course you’re taking but the tape is too thick to stick on a piece of vocal music without covering the words
