I had used a Zipp equivalent of this for a couple of years, but the Garmin mount section of it got loose over time so the head unit felt like it could move around a tiny bit - not super confidence inspiring.Installed this, and it's much closer to OEM level of firmness + security in terms of the interface between the mount and the computer.Maybe a few grams heavier than the purely plastic ones, but definitely more secure. Also allows you to place the device between the aero bars, vs above it because of the unique locking mechanism. A lot sleeker looking, though buttons get a little harder to press when in that position depending on how close you have your bars mounted (I don't mind).

The Edge 1000 stock mount put my computer right under the spot where sweat pours off my face. Sweat pooling on top of my Edge while on my trainer actually locked up the unit. The K-Edge TT got my Edge 1000 out in front on my TT extensions. Also worth noting that it places the computer under the extensions and out of the way. Love the positive locking feature that secures my expensive toy to my bike! This is a well thought out product of seemingly excellent quality.

Great mount for aero bars. Compatible with Garmin quarter turn mount devices.

Sturdy excellent bracket for between the aerobars mounting of a Garmin Edge unit. Steady as a rock after 400 miles of Michigan chip and seal roads. Love the separate locking mechanism -- very smart. Recommend highly. Ditch the floppy Garmin plastic bracket and get the reliable solid K-EDGE!

This is a great mount for a computer off aero bars. It is very steady and easy to install. It just stays put.

While this is a pretty expensive mount, it is a beautifully machined, well-thought out product. That said, it will not work for every TT bar setup. In short, you should be sure that the space between your aero bars is at least as wide as necessary to rotate your Garmin device into place on the mount-- in other words, the bars should be as at least as far apart as the Garmin is tall. Otherwise, you will not be able to get the Garmin out for recharging or use on another bike without taking off the entire mount. If your aero bars are too narrow, consider the Barfly TT mount - [...]- also available on amazon.com.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Halterung für meinen Garmin Edge (810) um diesen auf meinem Fahrrad (Trek SpeedConcept) zu montieren. Das Problem ist, dass die meisten Aero Halterungen zu breit für den sehr schmalen One-Piece Lenker sind.Diese Halterung passt perfekt zwischen die beiden Holme. Dadurch, dass der Verschluss von unten bedient wird, gibt es auch kein Problem den Garmin zu montieren.Manko: Sehr teuer und der Carbon-Lenker verkratzt bei der Montage der Halterung sehr leicht. Hier ist also Vorsicht geboten.

Works well

Works well, read the other reviews so add tape before clamping on, not to ruin the paint work. Would have liked it to sit on the grips of the handle bars but the screws were too short. It’s done the job I’ve needed it for.
