Prefacing by saying I love antiquing and we had a need to acquire 7 brass-style opulent candelabras for an upcoming event. My intention was to buy several authentic ones, but for a pair, unless you find an estate bargain you're looking at approx $400-600 (sometimes each!!) for something authentic or a quality reproduction.I didn't want anything that was blatantly cheaply made but had this in my cart for ages, saw it was on sale for 33% off and I couldn't resist taking the risk even with multiple one-star reviews.When it arrived I had exceptionally low expectations. I thought they were going to be really awful... imagine my surprise when I pulled them out and they were heavy and beautiful.Yes, they're cast and yes they're gold-plated but they're still lovely!Are they the most authentic option you can find? Unequivocally not. For this price point they satisfy the need for the event and I can get tons of use out of them in the coming years.If you're looking for authentic, buy authentic baroque candelabras. If you want the next best thing, get these!-------------UPDATE-------------I'm not changing my review rating because I'm returning for a refund but I am sharing what I received - buyers beware:I opted to buy used "like new" because I loved the first set I got so much and I need multiple for an event in January. I've never bought used from Amazon and won't ever be doing it in future. I also think of my many purchases this is the only time I'm returning something... ever. Not because I haven't received subpar from Amazon, but because returning stuff is not fun for my ADHD brain.The additional candelabras came in mail (see other photos). I could hear there was loose styrofoam when I went to open the package. It was coating everything... the real issue is that there's nothing "like new" about these. They look like they were dipped in Satan's bumhole. Like maybe involved in a house fire? Dracula's 600 year old castle has candelabras in more prestine shape.Wax poured all over everything. Melted metal? Like how hot did it have to get to melt the metal? Dents?I don't know who thought it would be at all ok to resell these to anyone, but they should be ashamed. Seriously. I'm so upset that someone deliberately put these in a box and shipped them to anyone at all. Where's your reputational integrity? How is that ever ok? I need to get additional candelabras but this put such a bad taste in my mouth... it was probably styrofoam that's covering everything. Please if the people who swindled me see this do NOT try to sell this to another person on Amazon.

I am extremely happy with this purchase! I had doubts due to some of the reviews, but happy to report that these are absolutely beautiful! They present a small degree of individual variation in shape and finish, but nothing dramatic AND it looks like this is done on purpose to give the candelabras an authentic, antique feel. I would not want these to look factory manufactured. Beautiful and highly recommended!

These are substantial and beautiful. I bought a pair "used like new" and was very pleased.

I purchased the pair of candles holder to match with clock that I bought from them. Well, as u can see 1 of the candle holder is slanted and the polishing color is not the same and not equally balance. I asked for a replacement, but they said they don’t do replacement so I have to ask for a refund and then buy it again. So that’s what I did, and today I got the candle holders, well… guess what!! Yupe, same problem.. one being slanted and not the same polishing. I wonder if they do a quality check or not before they put it inside the box and send it to the customers. Because they are not cheap!!!

These are stunning, look very much like the real antique thing. These get many compliments and make my space look royal added to mix of other items like golden French chair, Persian carpets, baroque picture frames, and also plain modern white furniture. Definitely worth the cost to spiff up my living area.

I love how they look...and how heavy the candelabras are

This is a truly wonderful set! I have these items mixed in with several antiques, and they match perfectly.

I really liked them but my problem is that each has a different gold tone. One is darker gold than the other and do NOT match color wise. Very disappointed in that aspect.
