It was easy to use and very good trimmer

I'm a professional horticulturalist with almost 40 years' experience, the quality of cut from this machine is impressive, my first thoughts were sceptical on seeing the speed of the blades, how wrong I was. The Ilex (Holly tree) had not been trimmed for over 2 years (COVID) and the blades managed to cut the finger thick branches, so I could get the Christmas lights up. The Euonymus (Spindle tree) was trimmed with ease into a heart shape. Battery life is excellent with only 20% used for both jobs, caution the machine is supplied without a battery!!

This is my 3rd hedge trimmer and definitely the best. I'm only 5' so not big but find this so easy to use, lightweight, good battery life and you can see what charge is remaining, recharges quickly. I have over 200' of hedging and found it a doddle to do with this cutter.

Had the trimmer for a little over two years and it cuts out in under five minutes of use, from what seems to be overheating at the motor.This is not the type of product that gets a huge amount of use in a year, and is certainly not all year round use.The item has not been particularly great since the first couple of months. The motor would over heat and start cutting out but this was originally after significant use and cuttings could be cleared while it cooled. This problem had gradually got worse in that it happened more quickly. And upon using them this spring it now cuts out in under five minute, so as to render the item useless.The listing says Five year warranty. Don't be taken in by this. It seems to hold no truth.Amazon say they can't honour this listing and refer to the manufacturer's email to contact them yourself. Manufacturer ignores email. All the while the hedge keeps growing. So you have to bite the bullet and replace.I'd look elsewhere at better quality items. These are fairly cheaply made naff plastic items to be fair.Even if you already have the batteries, the cost of replacing the item in a couple of years more than covers any other upfront battery outlay for a better quality brand.

Trims my laurel hedge easy enough and the Briggs and Stratton battery lasts well

Loved this trimmer until the battery ran out. It’s definitely faulty, but trying to get help from Amazon or Briggs & Stratton is impossible. We’ve had it 4 months so can’t return it. Looks like it’s going in the bin!UpdatedNov 2020: once I could get in contact with the manufacturer, they immediately offered a replacement battery which now works brilliantly. 5 stars for customer service.

Already had the batteries as had previously purchased a Murray lawnmower so seemed a good idea to buy the hedgetrimmer as well. Glad I did as it's so easy to use without the hassle of having to watch out for a trailing cable. Very easy to use with excellent cutting ability - best bit of gardening kit that I've bought in a long while

le taille haie est vraiment très bien , il est léger maniable coupe très bien les branches jusqu'à 1cm, fini les craintes de couper le fil , très facile d'utilisation avec la batterie on prend et on attaque de suite plus besoin de dérouler le fil. Avec une batterie de 5AH le temps d'utilisation est appréciable; en taillant une haie de 15 m de long je n'ai utiliser que 20% de la charge.
