Why are there both a blue and a green bottle of this product?

what is the difference between this and quick shine multi surface cleaner?

Well the Quick Shine cleaner is just that, a floor or multi surface cleaner. I have only used it on my vinyl plank flooring. It is not concentrated and when dry it appears to leave no residue. At least that’s my experience. The Quick Shine Floor Finish, is akin to Mop-n-Glo. It appears to be an acrylic style floor wax. I use it too but find that it is too shiny for my taste. I am in search of the same kind of thing, but one that would leave a more satin or matte finish. But that’s just me. I think one could probably get along just fine with the floor cleaner and skip the floor finish. Hope this helps.

What the heck - this seems to break down down and flake my underlying quickshine floor luster and make a mess? How do I fix this?

I use the cleaner first, then when completely dry use the luster. Let that dry 45 minutes. My floors look great. If your floor is hardwood, use that specific product. If laminate or other use the Quick Shine multi floor cleaner.

If I put this in the quick shine mop how many squirts should I use at a time?

The same as you would do for Bona - enough to do a 3 or 4 foot square at a time.
