HALO 100% Cotton Sleepsack Swaddle, 3-Way Adjustable Wearable Blanket, TOG 1.5, Baby Blue, Newborn, 0-3 Months

As a first-time mom, the HALO SleepSack Swaddle quickly became one of my favorite newborn purchases. It felt noticeably higher quality than some of the other swaddles we tried and my baby seemed extra cozy and comfortable in it. I also noticed that my baby slept longer stretches in this swaddle than in some of our other options. The fabric is soft and the fit felt secure without being too restrictive. The sizing was true to the recommendations. Like most cotton baby items, it may shrink a little after washing and drying so some babies may need to size up slightly earlier than expected. One thing I really appreciated was how well it held up in the wash. Even with the Velcro going through the washer and dryer repeatedly, it continued to work well and maintained its quality. The swaddle includes a double zipper feature which many parents may love, but I personally didn't use it much. Overall this swaddle gave me peace of mind as a new parent and helped my baby stay comfortable and sleep well. I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a high-quality newborn swaddle!

This sleep sack deserves ten stars for how easy it makes middle-of-the-night diaper changes. It is incredibly easy to use, keeping our baby feeling snug, secure, and comfortable all night long. The absolute best feature, though, is the inverted zipper that zips from the top down. When you need to do a diaper change at 3:00 AM, you don't have to unswaddle or fully undress them—you just unzip the bottom, swap the diaper, and you're done. It keeps the baby warm, quiet, and ready to drift right back to sleep. Highly recommend!

This sleepsack is soft, lightweight, and feels comfortable against my baby’s skin. I like having a wearable option instead of loose blankets in the bassinet. The cotton material is breathable and the zipper makes diaper changes much easier than dealing with a traditional swaddle. It has held up well after use and washing. Definitely a convenient addition to our baby’s bedtime routine.

We were given one at the hospital and decided to get a second. A little big for a small baby but still works. Very high quality and will last as she grows. Love the various was to wrap

Just bumped up from 3 stars to 4 after a few month's use. Overall, we love the halo sleep sack. We found the miracle blanket more useful at 1-3 months when he needed more 'support' but transitioning has been great with the Halo. First, even though we switched to the miracle blanket for the first few months, we found that using the right size completely addresses the bunching/wriggle/break-free issue we first experienced. As for the velcro, it's still aggressive toward other items in the wash/dryer, but we've learned to just wash it inside-out and zipped up. not the easiest way to dry it but definitely secure. after a month or so of using it, the velcro 'poops out' enough that you don't need to worry so much - but still works securely. Here's the original review: Conflicted on how to rate this. We have the basic cream cotton swaddle and love it. What we've learned in 11 days of use: - Order the right size. Our little guy is 6.5lb and 19" and the small is definitely too large for him - had we known the infant size existed, we'd have headed that route (in fact we just receivedthe infant size in the mail today). He breaks his arms free if we don't take care to wrap the swaddle wings up over and down around his shoulders - something that wouldn't be an issue if we were using the right size. Looking forward to trying the right size this evening. - The Velcro on this thing will DESTROY anything you wash it with, including itself. This especially goes for those gauze-like swaddle cloths. The instructions say to Velcro it to itself before washing but we tried this twice and both times it came undone, wreaking havoc on other defenseless articles. This is the part that compels me to give the product only 3 stars. As a designer myself, I can't imagine that A) the manufacturer is not aware of this problem and B) a solution doesn't exist to this problem that the can't find. I am also disappointed that the issue is not more clearly addressed on the product care instructions. Again - the off-hand mention to velcro the wings to themselves belies the urgency of the matter and is not really a solution. As a result, ours is coming apart at the seams and other laundry items are toast. That's it. This product is really great (barring the Velcro issue). We have total piece of mind putting our boy down in it each night, and it really seems to soothe him. I'm washing the new lightweight sack now with the wings velcro'd shut and secured with safety pins - a royal PITA but if it works that's what we'll have to do.

Lifesaver for my premie sized baby!!! He sleeps well. Thickness is apt for WA temperature switches and overall quality is great. It’s easy to wash. Highly recommended for a newborn.

This is an excellent product that I’d make sure every new family has on their baby registry. We actually have several of these but we’re finding that we had to wash often and we’re without one so that’s why we purchased again. They wash up so well, I love that they’re 100% cotton and the color schemes are great! The product itself is easy to use, soft, and does the job that it’s meant to do by keeping our infant safe and swaddled.

The Halo sleep sack is amazing. My baby loves their sleep sack, helps them fall asleep at night, they sleep longer while wearing it, and keeps them warm all night. Easy to wash and dry. Long lasting, my baby uses it every night and it looks the same as it did the first time we used it.

The band was too big compared to other Halo 3-6 month swaddles. Could barely get it to Velcro because it was so big. Soft, stretchy, and great quality.

My baby started kicking away flannel swaddles a week into his birth. It was impossible to keep one on. And given that they like their arms and body all wrapped up to feel secure, we needed something that could stay put. Halo swaddles are a perfect solution. 1.5 tog is perfect for Canadian households in winter time. They are soft, pure cotton, easy to put on and off the baby, machine washable.. just everything you need those first few weeks to get you baby and yourself some sleep. Love it.
