Perfect USB 3.0 Splitter
I moved my daughter's PC components into a better case that granted better air flow. But the newer case had not just USB 3.0 front panel header there was a compact C USB 3.2 header. Only thing the motherboard did not have port plugin for the newer type C. I found an adapter for the newer USB cable panel plugin that needed to also use the 20 pin USB 3.0 panel header. And I found this Perfect 19/20 pin y splitter cable making it easy to plug both front panel header cables in. Both the USB 3.0 and 3.2 compact C work great.

Does not help at all.
Pros: ... ... *cricket chirping* ... ...Cons: Where do I begin? First, the thing is not very well constructed. Flimsy plastic on all 3 connectors making it near impossible to maintain a steady connection. The front panel connectors kept sliding out because they don't "click" into place. My first reaction was that it didn't work at all. I then went back to find that half of the connector had slipped out of BOTH of the splitter's connectors. Plugged them back in and left the back of the case off while I tested the front panel... on the 2 ports that "worked" I was getting HORRIBLE data transfer speeds. The other 2 ports just sat there looking pretty... And when I mean that only 2 worked, I mean that I have 4 in the front panel of my PC, and only one of the top ones and one of the bottom ones "worked". My external hard drive kept disconnecting due to poor connection. Corrupted a couple of movie files on there that won't even play now. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE! If you only have one USB 3 header on your motherboard, but you have an extra USB 2 header on there, there are awesome adapters that will at least get you USB 2.0 speeds as opposed to nothing reliable at all.

Use with Extreme Caution
This seems like a simple solution to drive two products from your single MOBO 20 pin connector. Not quite! I have a MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon MOBO. My goal was to expand additional USB3 connectors to the front of my case. After installing, very simple, just ensure connectors are tight...then moment of truth...fired up my custom rig, (which up top this point was flawless for quite a while, I also built many custom gaming rigs)...PC sputtered, lights flashed, then went dead. Checked all the usual suspects PSW, GPU, etc....would not start. no power at all to the MOBO. Internal POST lights dead. This $5 product fried my MOBO. After some choice words, had to pony up for a new MOBO. My custom rig is back now, but I AM NOT using this product. If you are starting a build look for a MOBO with dual 20 pin connectors. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend avoiding. I see other reviews were successful, but to me the risk is too great. NOT recommended.

Failed to function.
The cord was suppose to enable a USB expansion bay, as well as a multi SD card reader. Neither would transfer data. Build quality was low as upon opening package the first task was to pluck out plastic shavings out of the wire heads. The cords only fit in loosely, while it was only in my system a very short time I did not feel confident that the cords were secure.

Does what it says it does.
I have no complaints about this product. The flat black cable looks much better than round usb 3 cable that comes with my desktop case. I have a Corsair AirFlow case that has a USB-C port on the front, but my motherboard does not have a USB-C header. This splitter combined with a USB 3 to USB-C adapter allows me to use the front USB-C.

Bits of plastic cracked off
This product works as it should but I don't know how long this item has been warehoused but when I connected my port the plastic housing cracked off. It still works but internal connection is now exposed. I had to use electrical tape to wrap around the area affected. Cheap plastic material used on this item.
