Tastes pretty gross initially, but after a minute the coating taste will go away and then you will have flavorless gum. Definitely a jaw workout and actually temporarily changed my bite pattern. This makes sense and I can only relate it to when you work out your muscles that haven't been worked out, they are sore and will contract differently until your muscles have healed. Been chewing for about a month and I feel I do as though my jaws do not get tired as easily. A thing to note about pieces that stick to your teeth. When you first put a piece in your mouth, bite down lightly. If shards break off, that will be a good piece to chew as it will warm up and get softer. If you put it in your mouth and it is very soft right away, I would highly recommend throwing that piece away as it will only get softer and stickier as it gets warmer. This will cause the gum to stick to your teeth and become a mess to clean up.

Good stuff. Very nice to chew and it gives your jaw a real workout! I got this shipped to me about two and a half weeks or three weeks after ordering it. It smells kind of like some kind of roots that would be used in chinese medicine and tastes like it came from some kind of tree, which it did. 100 grams will almost fill (3/4) an 8oz mason jar. The texture is very gummy you can chew a normal size piece for about 6 hours until it disintegrates. Also some pieces are harder than other and also harder to chew. I chewed two large pieces of mastic for about 9 hours the first day i got it and i could feel my jaw was quite sore. Its somewhat addicting to chew so now after chewing it for three days straight it really hurts to chew food, but i may chew more again today. It also seems to have some effects on the digestive system as i had diharrhea the day i chewed two pretty large pieces until they disintegrated and then i swallowed them. The taste is pretty nice actually and the texture is very gummy, it's almost indistiguisgable from a gum you would buy at the store except its on the harder side. Overall, 5 stars! very nice and a very pleasurable experience to chew it. Im looking forward to seeing what else this gum can be used for as well!!!! Update: After chewing this stuff for two months I've used about half and I have also burned some as incense, which I would only recommend if you like the taste of this gum as it smells pretty much the same when burned. I have noticed that my jaw has gotten quite a bit stronger as I can chew through one normal size piece (about 1-2 sticks of standard gum) in about 4-7 hours without my jaw getting very tired. Also, I've noticed when shaving that it is harder to get around the edge of my jawline than before and when I clench my teeth I can also see the muscles in my face are more defined and protrude more. I think over all my face has gotten more of a square look to it but i actually think it's an improvement.

This stuff is terrible. I actually like the taste, but it doesn’t work as chewing gum at all. It either got stuck between my teeth or dissolved and was consumed. And the price is ridiculous. You get a very small amount for almost 40$. Don’t get suckered in by the other reviews like I did.

not bad, better (stronger) than falim gum. I use mainly for jaw gains. been using for about 12 days. main issue i have is since the pack comes in small pebbles the different variations become annoying since you pay so much for the product. you have to sort out the weak ones compared to the very tough ones and when it comes to chewing evenly on each side it makes it slightly difficult to find the ones that match. i chew evenly on both sides, so i pretty much have a small ball on each side of my mouth, not altogether, so i can build my symmettry. Now have I seen results in 15 days? No, this takes time to build your muscle just like you build your body, you need to be consistent and chew everyday till your jaw is very sore. No pain no gain, now that may be cap, but it feels a lot better putting your jaw through strain. Another issue i have is that when you chew the much harder pieces of the mastic gum, you can cut your tongue and your cheeks very often, it hurts very badly how sharp it can be. one of the two cons are the gums inconsistency and the pain that can come from the glass like pieces you are chewing on. I plan on chewing every single day for atleast two hours but the most important thing is strain and consistency. I had a very narow face growing up, eating soft foods and having a small head because of it. You can really rebuild yourself if you put your body through the stress and allow it to rebuild yourself. It's too soon to see any results in just 15 days. But If i give myself 4 months of daily consistency I can completely change myself and my confidence and feeling of myself.

BEST MASTIC GUM ON AMAZON If you are looking for mastic gum on Amazon. This product is the best - in terms of both price and quality. I have used other products, but this is the least processed and authentic of all. I've tried the round pill form (highly processed), powdered pill form (not so genuine or effective), and powder form. MASTIC GUM ELIMINATED MY STOMACH PAINS I have frequented stomach pain for about 8 years. These pains often occurred by the esophagus and the right side of my stomach. I have had an endoscopy and various lab studies confirm H-pylori infections. I have a feeling that H-pylori had something to do with these on-and-off pains in the past 8 years. Fortunately, these stomach pains disappeared since I started taking these mastic gums. My diet has not changed. There is not a lifestyle change. I really think it is these mastic gums that made the difference. I would chew one piece for 2-3 hours and swallow it down with water after lunch. Sometimes I chewed on it just for the sake of it in the morning or evenings. INCONSISTENCY IN CHEWINESS Some mastic rocks (I call each piece rocks because of varying degrees of sizes) have super chewiness that sticks to your teeth. It's quite unpleasant because they are melted between your teeth and you can't get them out. What I do then is chew another rock hoping that it is a non-chewy rock. If it is a non-chewy rock, then the chewy gum attaches to the new rock. If it is another chewy rock and gets stuck in the teeth, then sip some cold water and start chewing on mastic gum. Cold water hardens the gum. Anyway, despite this inconvenience, I keep chewing on these because I know that these mastic gums are legit and effective at eliminating H-pylori infections. I purchased these for about $30, and it feels expensive, but they last a long time. It is lasting longer than the regular gums I buy.

This gum starts off sticky and becomes more like a hard strong as you chew. I had to move it around in my mouth for the first 4-5 minutes so it would stop get stuck to my teeth. Once exercised it worked very well for hours. There is almost no flavor but I got a good law workout. 100g for $40 is a better price than other brands but it appeared I was going to receive 10 smaller boxes of gum. 100g checks out but I perceived a lot more product. Most brand are $20-$25 for on 15g -25g

Flavor is very mild and i would describe it to be a bit like what tree sap smells like. Personally, I like the taste. I bought this to chew during long surgeries. I started chewing gum but want to avoid the microplastics and artificial sweeteners. This is perfect! It was expensive but i can chew the same piece for many, MANY hours!! Days even. The funny side effect I had was the first day, i had chewed a piece for a few hours and took it out in the evening. My jaw was achy from the chewing and i felt very sleepy. I battle awful insomnia every day. Can’t fall asleep nor stay asleep. When i tell you i fell right asleep and didn’t wake up until 45 min before the alarm… incredible. I knew it was all psychological from my jaw being fatigued, yet i fell right asleep like a normal flipping person! Tonight is my second day with the gum and im off to bed. I feel like it will happen again. Beware, the head/neck & ENT surgeon I work with has good amount of experience with TMJ. Overuse of the jaw can cause it so i will be careful and i hope you will be too. Moderation. I probably won’t use this at work so much as just an hour before bed. Sleep is priority over all else.

This is very good quality mastic gum. It is a whitish/light yellow color & seems to be very fresh. There is a mix of large, medium & small pieces. mostly medium sized. The larger & medium ones are soft and can be chewed easily. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a few pieces are VERY soft indicating how fresh the resin is. Some of the smaller pieces have dried out a bit more so they are a little bit harder. They can still be chewed but feel a bit tougher. (The drying out faster is typical of small tears so this is to be expected) I plan to grind up some of the smaller ones in my mortar & pestle and fill some empty caplets i bought. The larger & medium pieces i am chewing like gum. Tip: Make sure you rinse the pieces off before chewing or ingesting as they are coated with white sand. (This is normal as the sand is used as a protective coating during harvesting of the resin. so make sure you rinse well first or you will have a mouthful of sand) It ships from Greece so it takes a bit longer to arrive than my typical amazon purchases, but still arrived early on in the expected delivery time frame. Also, the seller sent me an individually wrapped cookie of some sort. It had Greek writing on it so i do not know what it is called but it was quite tasty!
