Osprey Hydraulics Water Reservoir Hose Replacement

This worked perfect as a replacement on a circa 2005 CamelBak Omega reservoir. These reservoirs use a smaller-diameter PureFlow hose than the newer CamelBaks, and the hoses can be hard to find and expensive.This hose fit nice and snug (I dipped the hose in very hot water before putting it on). The hose might be a little less flexible than the original hose, but it's still very usable and gave new life to a reservoir with a damaged hose. Also, I trust this hose to be free of nasty chemicals more than I would a no-name replacement hose.

Purchased to replace an old CamelBak Antidote tube and it worked fine. As others have mentioned, it comes tightly coiled and doesn't really want to straighten, but it relaxed after some use.

There were a couple of reviews that talked about how kinked up the hose was when taken out of the box and that it wouldn't straighten out. I wish I took a picture of it when it was all rolled up but I didn't think about it. So, here is a picture of the hose after it was unrolled. I don't know how the other reviewers looked like but I don't find this bad.I haven't put any water through it so I don't know about taste but there is no unusual smell with it. Has a slight plastic smell to it. Go figure...plastic...All that said, it is a bit tight to get on a Sawyer Mini-Filter.

Purchased to replace old hose on an Osprey bladder. Works as expected.

Excellent product. I don’t own an Osprey bladder or pack, as I build my own hydration rigs for an old bladder from a different company. I’ve purchased two of them so far. I have used 3 different hoses thus far, and the Osprey is excellent.-The 1/4” standard-gauge tube is certainly long enough for normal use, but I Just wish they’d offer it in longer lengths so I could cut it down to size for custom configurations.-High quality, flexible yet firm.-Easy to wash-No taste or oder that I can detect.-Clear tubes are my personal preference since you can see what’s going on inside.-You will need a lot of patience inserting adapters—but for me, that means there won’t be leaks.Professional and simple packaging (sign of a serious company IMHO).I’ve had only good experiences with Ausprey accessories thus far. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase any Osprey product. High quality, reasonable prices.

Docking 2 stars from this only because it took me about an hours to get the hose fitted on and I still couldn't get it on all the way. I think this one is slightly smaller than the factory hose. I have blisters on both thumbs from trying to put this thing on. Just purchased the cap for the mouth piece too and I'm dreading the day it arrives because I know I'll have to pull this hose off to put it on.

It's just a replacement hose. It serves it's purpose although I had to trim some of the length. I've purchased this item several times as my cat chewed the previous hose(s) causing leaks. It's handy to have around and it doesn't cost much. Better to have some extra tubing around just in case.
