Having used Hand Radios most of my life I chose these.They were to keep in touch with my Wife when Dog Walking on a beach.I was about 1mile when I used it.The voice was quite noticeable?.Although the wind did upset the audio some what.For me they were ok as a contact over a short period?,what I needed.I had both set on low power.The instructions needed a good time to read.But once you have the basics were ok.

Wanted something for a 5 year all the kids ones that were cute and colourful not worth the money so went for these instead excellent range on them good sturdy had nearly a year and still not had to charge yet but we dont use them for really long periods of time so not sure how long battery life is for heavy duty use. But great for camping and just having a laugh.

To much static

I used them on the Yorkshire Three Peaks. They worked the whole time.A) was otherside of Pen Y Gent and Base was in Horton in Ribblesdale and then Ribbleshead and worked perfectly. No bleeding from other radios.

I purchased these walkie talkies on Amazon for my wife’s Christmas as we live at the edge of a forest and she goes for very long walks. Given the terrain their performance wasn’t perfect, but as good as I’d hoped for. However, after less than two months of use one of the radios will no longer recharge, which renders them both useless. I had tried to register a warranty, but their website rejected it. I emailed their “service” email address. It bounced back 24 hours later stating “despite repeated attempts the recipients email system refused to accept a connection from your email”. I then went on to their website/contact us, sent a message. It wouldn’t send. Costing twice as much as most other walkie talkies I had hoped I would be ok with theses ones, but no. My advice is buy nothing from this company. Once they have your money and you have a problem with their product, they will have nothing to do with you. I might as well have taken £66 out my wallet and flushed it down the toilet.Addendum. Once again 10 out of 10 for Amazon. I am well out of my returns time with them, but they have quickly agreed to a return and refund. Should have been the manufacturer’s responsibility by now, but they are nowhere to be seen.

Great radio's can't fault them they are a must buy

It is very easy and annoying to accidently press the buttons when wearing the device even when the lock is activated.There is no squelch function.The range is far less than stated. I could barely hear a call at 1 km distance on flat terrain.

We only occasionally use them, but one of them has started making this horrible loud buzzing noise resulting in the pair being unusable.
