Hyperkin VR Clamp Mount for HTC Vive Pro/ HTC Vive/ Oculus Rift

I never write reviews but felt like this one was deserved because of just how well these are made. The clips are super strong and u can tell it’s made with quality materials. I was really surprised at how well it was made and for the price. Just goes to show products can be made well and not expensive.

I got this thing for my Base Station before realizing that the edge I was going to clamp it to wasn't stable enough. However, I kept it because it can be repurposed -- I realized the screw thread on this is identical to that of standard webcams and camera mounts. I wouldn't trust this thing with a heavy thing like a DSLR, but it works great for mounting a webcam to the edge of something.

Got 3 of these puppies for my base stations after seeing reviews on them + an irl friend also getting them and sharing his experience.Pros:- Great price- Compact mounting solution that doesn't take up a ton of space or require holes in your walls.- Sturdy quality of parts and springEtc:- No issues with my base stations falling or the ball joint slowly falling out of place, these are great if you don't have a lot of room for base station poles or can't drill into your wall to wall mount. One of mine is actually clamped to some command strip hooks! Ghetto but it works really well!

Very happy with this clamp, I have a 2"+ thick shelf and was worried but this has been holding on great with a Vive sensor. As other reviews mentioned, the plastic does smell if you hold it up to your nose but at a distance it wasn't noticeable (especially since these typically go in corner areas) and after a few days the smell had faded away and I am just left with an excellent clamp at a great price.

I was honestly really surprised how sturdy this is. It may look like a clip you'd use to keep a chip bag closed, but it's got some serious power in the spring, and the clamp itself is solid metal. It's holding up one of my Index lighthouses (attached to a tension rod), and there've been no problems over the few weeks I've had it.

It works great, and is made of much better quality than the ones made from 3D Printers, as well as give more flexibility in rotation. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because you have to clip it onto something, rather than have a way to stick it to the wall. The fix for me was buying those Velcro wall picture hangers that can hold up to like 12lb, and a small hook that is also meant to be placed on the wall with a sticky strip. I used the Velcro to mount the hook I bought instead of the wall strip it came with to support extra weight, and then I clamped the Mount onto that, and it works like a charm and din't damage my wall.

The ease of use and the cleaning of using these over tripods is worth it. I was skeptical at first as to whether or not I'd have enough areas I could clasp these onto or not, but these are flexible enough to make most things work. I have been able to clasp these things to door frames that are nearly 3 inches wide which was very impressive. This will reduce a ton of clutter, and likely be cheaper, if done instead of using tripods. The biggest benefits for me are being able to easily put up, tear down, and move these whenever I'd like as well as not needing to drill holes into my walls for wall mounts.

I thought this was gonna be a quick and dirty mounting technique until my tripods were delivered, but these things are rock solid. very grippy rubber on the tips and a good amount of clamping force, I have it attached to things that it isn't meant to be attached to and it's still sturdy as a rock. I would DEFINITELY recommend these. far better quality then i was expecting. Don't think twice about these, just get them.

Clip to pretty much anything and easy to install

This clamp type tool, is ideal for my vive base stations. I have a shelf 2cm thick, and this clips on no trouble. I play seated, so 2 of these were purchased. Saved me drilling in the wall. Excellent product, and exactly what I was looking for.

Fantastic product for mounting the base stations for the Vive Cosmos elite which does not require drilling into the wall. Super strong clips can be clipped onto any item to securely hold the base station.

Works really well for my Oculus rift sensor cameras. The clamps are very strong and hold in place. Once you're done positioning your camera you just tighten the screw at the bottom and the camera stays in place. The clamp is pretty big, but it lets you clamp onto pretty much anything (I have mine clamped onto a 1.5 inch board).

Clamp on easily and stay. No problems at all.
