these are pretty spendy, but after 3 months the critters have not chewed through the very fine wire. they are easy to use compared to chicken wire gopher cages. I was dubious, but they are holding up so far. I plan to update this if the moles and gophers break through the netting in the coming year or so.

I bought and protected a beautiful lavender plant for a year. Kept my husband from over watering it and kept the dogs from peeing on it. It was nicely established and flowering beautifully when the &/$@ gophers dig right under it bad killed my beautiful plant. Took to the internet to figure out what I could do and there was a suggestion to get these for the plants. Bought some. Back to the nursery with more lavender plants. I have planted the new ones in these and am hopeful they will be protected. I’m a bit concerned about the durability of these an offer they will eventually corrode out. Hopefully by then the plant will be established enough or I will have eradicated the gophers as I m working on doing right now.

For years,, I've tried deterrents, traps and other mesh products. This is absolutely the only thing that has prevented voles from eating the roots and decimating my garden! It may seem pricey but is definitely worth it for me.

Purchased the 1 gallon baskets to put my quart plants into and the 5-gallon baskets to put my 4-gallon potted plants into, I wanted to be sure to leave space for the roots to grow. Transferred my plants from buckets into the baskets, placing the basket into the hole went very easy, wrapped any excess towards the base of the plant.These wire baskets were very easy to use. I think that I have tried everything else to keep gophers and moles from eating my plants, I hope these work and don't rust away. If they work, I wonder how many years they will keep the gophers away.

I planted 3 plants but it's too soon to see whether they are gopher-proof. Crossing fingers!

The gallon size was a tight fit for my gallon sized tea roses, but after a struggle and a few curse words I got them to fit. I can’t say if they’re going to actually keep the rodents out, but I hope so.

This product seems like a great garden addition. It is soft and flexible. Only time will tell if it actually hold up and protects the plant roots from gopher attacks from both above and below.
