Terrible product and nothing like as pictured. Very deceiving! It’s so small you literally need a magnifying glass to read it and have come to find it’s also very inaccurate.

I had one of these previously and liked that it was a simple, no frills, easy read thermometer so when I needed to replace it I bought the same one. And I found the original one I had bought so now I have 2!

I must say I will "often" pop a large cut of beef into the microwave for 5 or 7 seconds..... but if you're making sure it is above 160 then you are following the proper procedure. Bovine do not use e-coli or bird tools to digest so you should be safe by searing the entire outside and then when it is looking and smelling perfect zap it but really try 5 seconds first. it really finishes a large steak very well. Watch it puff right up (scrambled).for any poultry or Pork you should make sure the 160 degree mark is passed these devices are in the genetics and if you are not careful you might find you are on their list and go wild like they want to....
