The advertisement photo is misleading. They work well and they do flicker but if you're hoping to see a realistic flame this product is not for you. what you will get is an illusion of a candle flickering behind frosted glass.

Put these in Japanese/Chinese stone lanterns and they are a wonderful touch in the garden. Nice to sit outside and enjoy a beverage while watching a realistic flame effect. Have ordered another pair for additional uses.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Had a solar outdoor lantern that had a similar flaming candle look. It died so I took it out and replaced it with this one. Looks great! I don’t think people realize they look strange alone, put it behind some frosted glass or inside a lantern live that I could also hang it upside down too.

I really like this product and will order another one. It's bright and has dimmer features. The product came with two USB cables and can charge very quickly. Excellent product

The flicker of the flame setting is great. You can see from the video that the flicker is actually more active than a real candle which makes for a worry free homey ambience. You can also see the color is a true likeness to the real candle.There are three settings; Flame, Light and 'Breathe.' The Flame and Light settings are both dimmable. The Breathe setting cycles from from off to bright approximately every nine seconds.This set contained two lights with a remote control for each light-2 lights, 2 remotes. One remote will turn on both lights (they have the same frequency) however, you do have to point the remote at each light which allows you to turn them on one at a time. Batteries are included with the remotes.The lights are also rechargeable and each light comes with its own charge cord. They do not come charging blocks however. I used my phone charging block and it worked fine. The candle base lights up red while it's charging but turns off when it's charged. I haven't timed how long the charge lasts as I use them both for 15-30 minutes each evening before retiring. I have had them for a month and have only needed to charge them twice. (first time for the initial charge when they were delivered, and the second time a couple weeks later)Hope this helps!
